This is a big celebration in the city and lasts a day to two. Downtown there is a parade, 10K run, events, and drinking/partying. Seem like the law overlooks a lot then.
I've never seen anything like this! It's a great playground for kids, but very interesting for adults as well. Mostly everything is made from recycled materials; it's amazing.

This is a beautiful building designed by the famous Chicago architect, Louis Sullivan. It was built in 1890-91. It was the first steel-framed building in St. Louis.
Visit Faust Park in nearby Chesterfield. This photo shows the butterfly house there. Also in the park is an old fashioned carousel, some historic cabins and barns, and a large mansion.
When visiting St. Louis you have to try toasted raviolies and St. Louis style pizza(really thin crust). Obvious attarctions would be the famous arch known as the 'Gateway to the West.'
