Bongo's Bistro is near the town square where highways 32 and 39 meet. I was surprised that a town this size would have such a fine restaurant. The sandwiches and steaks there are excellent and the prices reasonable. That is VT member TYCOON007 in the picture. He and I went to eat at Bongo's.

This diner is between the Lake Stockton Inn and Holliday Motel. I have gotten up early before starting my work at the hotel and gone here for coffee, biscuits, and gravy. They make a wonderful biscuits and gravy that only costs a little but will stick to your ribs all day.
