Bozeman airport is small but well served from the West Coast. United, Alaska, American and Delta fly here from points West or Denver/Dallas. There is also a large amount of private jets that call here during the winter ski season. The airport is small and easy to get around with plenty rental car companies to choose from if you need wheels.

As a landing place to get to Yellowstone
The airport is actually NW of the city and is closer to Belgrade than to Bozeman. The airport is looking to expand right now. They are trying to put customs into the airport so that international flights can come into it, but this is still in the exploratory area.
When you get to the airport you still have about an hour an 1/2 drive to the park. There are two different routes you can take. If you are going in through West Yellowstone go east out of the airport and go to Belgrade and then turn south that road will take you to West Yellowstone. This is a really pretty drive.
If you are going in through Gardner, turn west, get onto the interstate at Bozeman. Drive to Livingston (22 miles) and turn south to Gardner. This takes you over a pass with some really fun corners, even for an interstate.
