Essex is located adjacent to Glacier National Park. You can make some fine hikes into the park... in winter this can be quite adventurous however!

Favorite thing: One of the favorite activities of visitors to Essex is trainspotting. There is a busy traffic of helper engines which are attached to heavy goods trains here.
