This Victorian Mansion was built in 1895 as the home of C.E. Conrad, Montana pioneer, Missouri River trader, freighter and founder of the city of Kalispell. Restored to its original elegance, it is placed on the National Historic Register and open to visitors.

It's just a fun place. There's a maze, the oversized chair, a forest with tilted houses, shrinking rooms and other fun things. Go with friends, otherwise it'll be boring.

I just found this little place on my last trip. This maybe the best kept secret in the Flat Head Valley. The food was very, very good and the service was almost unreal. I had dinner and lunch here over two days and both times the staff of this place made you feel right at home. I found that most of the time people were greeted by name at the door.

The wine selection was over the top for Montana. The ale selection was good, just not enough of them on tap.

Varied menu with good range of prices and cuisines, high ceiling open feeling with nice back row elevated to watch the crowd or feel secluded. Name denotes the music along with the variety of beverages, which include a great selection of both beers and wines. Music several nights a week, open mike night once a week. Urban cool, fantastic service. An all around awesome place to hang out. Anyone could feel comfortable here.

Favorite Dish: Fish and Chips were spectacular, made from scratch, light (not greasy).

The food is pretty good but the atmosphere is great; especially if you are from out of town or have children. They have a train that runs along the walls of the restaurant that kids and adults love to see. They also have tons of 50s decor on the walls along with various states license plates. One of mine is hanging on the wall

Kudos to Ian and John at Enterprise Car Rental in Kalispell. Ian was so great to work with. He gave me a great rate of $217 on a Ford Focus which included 250 miles a day for a seven day rental. Never did they try to push extra insurance or a larger car. They are not at the airport but they will come pick you up or take you to the airport or to your hotel.
It was a great experience. Thanks guys.

We took a daytrip to Flat Head Lake while we were in Kalispell. On the way back, we drove through Creston and stopped at Hooper's Garden Center. They have an abundance of flowers to enjoy outside and some very nice things in their shop inside. Fun place.
