The Libby Dam is just north of Libby on the highway to Lake Koocanusa. There is a large parking lot and a viewpoint that overlooks the dam from the top. There is are a few panels at one side of the parking lot that explain the dam and how it was built. You can also walk down to the bottom level of the dam and view the spillway from the lower angle as well.
