This is one of Livingson's "must-dos" according to many people. It's got an amazing reputation - especially for steak and ribs, but the prices are relatively reasonable. There's a bar area as well as plenty of dining room seating.
Favorite Dish: The soups are fantastic, the beers cold and the steaks are great. I like the baseball cut...strange name, strange shape...excellent!
Fine dinning minus the pretentious, casual dress is fine, locals come right off of the river with sunburns and shorts and are welcomed! Bistro food with a local and even some Louisiana flair, where the chief hails from. There Pork and Meatloaf is local as well as various other goods. One of the owners is a well traveled wine fanatic, be sure to ask for a recommendation from him, his name is Brian..They have specialty local beers on tap as well as some of their own concoctions of some fabulous drinks..Try their Jalapeno infused Margarita! Very reasonably priced for what you get!
Favorite Dish: Try the Flat Iron Steak & Frites...In the summer be sure to try a seafood special, which is brought in surprisingly fresh considering their location..Like The Ahi or black Cod..Herb Roasted Chicken is a delicious too!
