Montanan's do not have any professional sports teams to brag about. But they do support and love their Grizzly football. The football games attract over 25,000 people (half the population of Missoula). The atmosphere is a gigantic party. The tailgate parties begin about 2 hours before kickoff. There are many beer gardens and people enjoying themselves adjacent to the stadium. Watching the football game can be more entertainment than a professional sports event in a big U.S. city. Montanan's love to party and support their team. After the game, the fans flock to the downtown bars accross the river and enjoy drinks late into the night. This is a great opportunity to see why people love Missoula and Montana Grizzly football.
