I have worked here for over 7 years and I have met many many traveling people. So not based on my opinion but on theirs, I know that this is a very nice restaurant to stumble upon in western Montana. The ambience and atmosphere are special.
I would go for a good Montana steak myself but there are many choices available, seafood and vegetarian entrees. Leave a Comment

Some people use their credit card to earn United miles to fly and all over the U.S. there are restaurants where you get 10 miles for every dollar you spend there. In the giant state of Montana, there is exactly ONE restaurant who participates in this milage program....La Parrilla. Its a cool renovated old house with lots of young kids working there.
Huge Burritos, we had a chicken, a pork, and a steak, all with black beans and rice and their salsas and sauces are delicious, especially the sesame wasabi sauce. One burrito is about $5 and it is way too much to eat. Leave a Comment Theme: MexicanPrice: less than US$10 » Currency ConverterComparison: less expensive than averageAddress: 1533 W. In downtown Missoula, this is a very cute, small restaurant and bar. Nice simple menu with organic foods and nice wine list and local beers.
We had a chipotle chicken quesadilla and an organic greens salad. It was delicious. Leave a Comment Theme: AmericanPrice: less than US$10 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: 529 South Higgins ave. Missoula MontanaPhone: 406-549-2790Directions: Downtown Missoula near "the bridge"

The atmosphere is as a 50's diner with car hoods and car trunks used for sitting booths. It's like eating at a drive-in with much more comfort.
Good family food and local fare. Located in an old west ghost town some would call a tourist trap, it has the best food for the best prices. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherAddress: Located in historic Virginia City, Montana, USA.Other Contact: www.roadmastergrille.com 406-843

My favorite local restaurants are: River City Grill in Bonner, 5 miles east of Missoula, just take the Bonner exit from I-90 on to Hwy 200. The Bangkok restaurant which is moving to N. Reserve St. in Missoula. El Cazador in downtown Missoula is good as well. Trennary's Irish restaurant on Brooks St. Zimmerino's Red Pies over Montana, downtown Missoula. Tower Pizza, Brooks St, Missoula. The Hamilton House (Scottish Pub), Victor, MT. I could have mentioned other restaurants that are national chains, but I like these for their individual qualities. I often avoid the casino type restaurants if the machines aren't seperate from the dining, because noise from the machines can be distracting. The River City Grill has a lot of interesting things to look at that were local to the area around the turn of the century. Lots of old Photos & stuff. Reasonable prices, and a nice atmosphere. The food is great too!
River City: Baby back ribs! Or whatever the special is!! The Bangkok: It's all good! The spicier the better! El Cazador: I like the seafood enchiladas Trennary's: corned beef and cabbage! Zimmerino's: Can't pick just one favorite. Tower Pizza: the pizza's are all good! Hamilton House: Fish & chips& Scottish ale! Leave a Comment Theme: Other
