HOMESTEAD NATIONAL MONUMENT IS LOCATED just a few miles west of Beartrice on highway 4. It commemorates those pioneers who first homesteded the land.
There are two buildings along highway 4 that you will want to see, but they are a couple of miles apart so you will make two seperate stops. One is the Educational Building, ant the other is the Heritage building (which is brand new).

Favorite Dish: I had the fresh mussels and they were delicioso.
