Runza: A REAL TASTE OF NEBRASKA FOUND HERE!

    by Rich62 Written Jun 20, 2005

But you must taste a Runza! This delicacy was brought to Nebraska by early settlers from Eastern Europe. It has cabbage and meat in a roll, I'm not sure what all the ingredients are but it is very popular hereabouts. When President Clinton visited Kearney a few years ago, he took some back to the White House with him! Try one!

Favorite Dish: I love their hamburgers, they are consistently good.

Red Lobster: A NICE SEAFOOD STOP

    by Rich62 Updated Jun 13, 2005

It is nice to find a good selection of seafood when you happen to be in the middle of the North American continent! Kearney, Nebraska is 1733 miles from Boston, 1733 miles from San Francisco, and about a thousand miles from the Gulf of Mexico. But at least we have a Red Lobster restaurant.

Favorite Dish: I like the baked flounder.

Sydney's: Fine dining -- relaxed, quiet atmosphere.

by llprice Updated Jun 4, 2005

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Fresh pasta dishes are a specialty.

Favorite Dish: The salads are more than the Midwestern iceberg with a wedge. A shellfish & pasta dish is my favorite, but I've been informed that the steaks are delicious as well.
