The Heartland Military Museum has a nice collection of military vehicles and other displays. Many of the vehicles are outside but they also have a large indoor part of the museum as well. Over 60 vehicles are in the collection at this time (2006).
Hours 10 to 5 Mon - Sat, 1 to 5 Sunday. Special tours by appointment.
Cost: Donations accepted.

Plum Creek Park, in Lexington Nebraska, has playground equipment for kids, tennis courts, and lots of grass and water features with nice shade trees.
