This is Nebraska's Second Largest City by fraise ...by strolling around the area just south of the State Capitol on a warm summer's evening. There are lovely old homes and lots of big trees where you can hear the locusts sing. Breathe deeply and inhale the smell of grass that's freshly cut. It's very relaxing and retro (in good kind of way). However, if it's breathtaking vistas you crave, you may wish to look elsewhere...
My Aunt Agnes (but she moved to Vegas in 90, and died in 1998). The place just isn't the same without her. She was the best! :o) Leave a Comment

by wanderlust23 Enjoy a lazy day in the middle of summer. The weather can produce some great storms, magnificent if they're not twisters, and you can sit back and let the rain come. Check out the picture of the capitol building. I wont write what the locals call it, too risque for VT. Leave a Comment

by kim83_50158 Visit the State Capitol Building. It is a remarkable building. There are tours available throughout the day. YOu can even take a (tiny)elevator to the top of the dome. Leave a Comment

You must go to a game and make sure you where red.
My fondest memory was visiting the University of Nebraska and experiencing the Corn Husker phenomenon.

They are also progressive thinking compared to the rest of the mid-west. Cost of living: Very Low (you can get a small apartment for 200 dollars a month) and the wages are as high compared to much, much bigger towns Education: there are 5 colleges in Lincoln Crime: Lincoln with 250,000 has an average of 2 murders a year)
THE COLD!!!! Below 0 alot in the winter 100 with humidity in the summer. Leave a Comment
