Do you bleed Husker Red?
Most of Lincoln, and the entire state of Nebraska does. So, if you're in town on a football game day (most Saturdays in the fall) be prepared to see red red red.
Also, be prepared for a mass of people from all over the state to decend upon Lincoln. Shopping malls get full, downtown is impossible to drive through, and the I-180 into town is choked up before and after the game. Leave a Comment

If you're in a hurry, don't attempt to drive anywhere in a 250 mile radius. Not only are the drivers infernally slow, they have this quaint local custom of coming to a near stop, then swinging out wide before making a right turn.

Don't get in the way of Husker pride. They live for their team so be careful if you are not there to support the 'Big Red.'
