by eomaha Some of Omaha's finest dining, unique shopping and entertainment, set in a romantic, cobble stone, brick warehouse district. Horse carriage rides, street corner musicians, and more. A very unique and charming experience (leave the kids behind... although if they must come... treat them to the kite shop, Ted & Wally's ice cream, and rental of a bicycle for 4!). Leave a Comment Address: 11th and Howard Street areaDirections: I-29 to I-480... exit into downtown, take 10th Street south to Howard Street.

by miruka This is a list: The Henry Doorly Zoo The Joslyn Art Museum The SAC Museum Nebraska Furniture Mart (just for the sheer absurdity) The Old Market The Gene Leahy Mall Dundee (just a really nice neighborhood, with actual character) Chip Davis' giant Piano-House Omaha is strange, there seems to be something odd hidden just about everywhere. If it doesn't look like it belongs, be sure to check it out. Leave a Comment

by kmifflin A zoo as decent as any other zoo, but it really does have an amazing Jungle House and over your head aquarium. If you have to go to Omaha, at least go see this. Leave a Comment Address: Off near the baseball stadium

by kmifflin Lots of planes actually used in various wars. They don't give you a lot of information, but I went with my Dad who knew quite a bit. It's pretty awesome to get a grasp on parts of history that way. Definately worth the 6 bucks! Leave a Comment Address: Outside Omaha about 20 minutes

by kmifflin Rosenblatt Stadium - Omaha Goldenspikes. AAA baseball is actually kind of fun. And at the Rosenblatt stadium every seat is a good seat and the good seats are still even cheap. Plus, the big ole margaritas make any game even more fun! It's even more fun if you go and root for the Tacoma Rainers. The Omahans get kinda pissy! Leave a Comment

For a city of its size, this is an excellent museum. In fact, it ranks along with just about anything that Chicago, St Lois, or Kansas City has to offer and they are all larger. The building itself is of marble and art deco in style. It is probably best known for its collections of works depicting the American west, especially an excellent representation of works by Swiss emigre Karl Bodmer, but it also possesses works by European masters and artifacts from ancient Greece and Egypt. Bodmer's western works are of particular interest to Lewis & Clark fans because much of it depicts the area of the Upper Missouri where he spent a great deal of time about 30 years after the Lewis & Clark expedition. It was recently named one of the top 10 art museums in America for kids by "Child" magazine. Leave a Comment
