Syracuse Things to Do

  • by alisontj Written Aug 31, 2006

The Otoe County Museum of Memories is a cute little museum that is housed in an old church, parsonage and additional building.
It's a little slice of americana, put together with much love by a group of local volunteers. They have displays ranging from Native American artifacts to replicas of old-time stores and businesses, to a collection of taxidermy. Everything in the museum came from Otoe County, and all the backdrops were painted by a local artist.
Be sure to ask if you can ring the bell in the steeple!
