  • ALADDIN an absolute must while in Vegas!!!!!

Favorite thing: Thank you Jimmie and Jed for making our trip to Vegas and the Aladdin the BEST! After my first trip to Vegas I began receiving the frequent mail outs with special room rates and various freebies. We now visit 3-4 times a vear and have tried many of the hotels but after our last visit Aladdin will be our "Vegas Home" from now on. We are average working folk who just love the Vegas atmosphere. Love to gamble but not real big spenders. From the moment we arrived at Aladdin we were treated like we had just won the lottery! Even though we were staying at an extremely low room rate, our request was granted for a room up in the high levels with a view of the strip, directly across from the B. fountains. Every staff person we encountered in the hotel and casino was friendly and helpful especially at the club desk by the great daily slot tounament. They all seem dedicated to making sure everyone has an enjoyable and 'fun' time which is what Vegas should be all about. It made losing all our money a little less painless too! The hotel, casino, and shopping areas are all fantastic. The show Society of Seven was very funny and entertaining. Just can't say enough!!

    See the newest addition:...

Favorite thing: See the newest addition: ALADDIN. I haven't seen this one, as it was under construction when I was last there in '99. This Arabian Nights themed hotel-casino just opened in August, 2000. It has Moorish domes and its facade centers on a 'Lost City' perched on an artificial cliff. The Desert Passage is a shopping and entertainment mall intended to rival the Forum. For more info see ALADDIN.

    Shop at the Alladin Desert...

Favorite thing: Shop at the Alladin Desert Passage. It is like being in another world. And they have little bicycle rickshaws to take you from place to place if your feet give out. The driver's work on tips only. Loved the Roc's Nest Bar there too. It is on a Mezzanine that looks out over the casino and the lounge with free shows. Also, check out the lounge and find out when they have the customers belly dance contest. That was a hoot. I didn't win, but I did get a free T-Shirt. Also, don't miss the view from the Stratosphere Tower. Even those who suffer from acrophobia should be able to enjoy it as they have viewing areas both inside a glassed area and outside. Too many favorites to mention though.

Fondest memory: Loved the delicious meal we had at the Cheesecake Factory behind the far fountain at Caesar's Palace. Don't let the name fool you. It has gourmet meals. Makes my mouth water now just thinking about it. Reasonable prices too. And right next door is Virgin Records where you can listen to any of their CD's. Not just snippets of tracks, but the whole thing. There are lots and lots of headphones. Great when you want to know whether to invest in a CD and have only heard one cut off of it.

    Try your luck

Favorite thing: Try your luck at the tables or slot machines. So far, the most expensive slot I've come across is US$500 at the Aladdin. Care to take part in the game?
