This is Handsome Dick Manitoba....the lead singer of The Dictators. They were
orginal NY punk rockers from about '77. They were the climax of the whole Shakedown.
They put on thee most intense show i've seen for a while.
I saw quite a few celebrities while I was in Vegas.... when I am in Miami, it seems like everyone who deems theirselves a celebrity hides in VIP corners of clubs and beneath the strong tinted windows of a Rolls... but in Vegas, they were out and about, I saw one actor at a Bellagio table at about 4AM, another one was DJing at Pure in Caesars... they are our neighbors and fellow gamblers, and having a great time in Vegas just like you!
Fondest memory: Gwen Stefani..... WOW
The Catheters Rocked!! They're a bunch of very young boys from Seattle. They were
nice enough to sign their CD for me.
The first time I ever saw Texas Terri & The Stiff Ones. Needless to say, they
won me over. I am a fan forever.
The Forty Fives are garage, 60's rock from Atlanta, Georgia. They were so good & the
organ player was a nut!!!
Fondest memory: Meeting Jim Lovell, Apollo 13 Commander and hearing in his own words what he was thinking during the Apollo 13 mission.
Fondest memory: Catching a glimpse of Pamela Anderson (yes, THE Pam Anderson) in person at Caesar's Palace! Take it easy, guys. I know, I know. It's PAMMMIE. :-)
