    Convention Center Shortcut

Favorite thing: This is a tip about a pedestrian overpass that's a shortcut from the Courtyard Marriott to the Convention Center.

*On the Courtyard Marriott side of Paradise Road, walk past the Courtyard Residence Inn.

*Cross Convention Center Drive and turn left.

*About 50 yards away, on the right, there is an escalator leading to an overhead walkway that goes OVER Paradise Road, directly into the second floor of the Convention Center.

This will save you a lot of standing on street corners waiting for the light to change, while broiling in the hot sun. Also, if you are setting up for or attending sessions on the second floor of the Convention Center, it’s a much faster way of getting there.

Favorite thing: Everything Coca Cola is located right next to M&M World. It's probably like a smaller version of the Coca Cola World in Atlanta. It's interesting to see all the different coke bottles from around the world.

Favorite thing: drop by the Liberace Museum.

All I can say is that - you will either like it or you don't. And I never realized Liberace's taste in things (from clothes to cars everything else!) was to such extremes! Er, quite garish actually. :-(

    Luxurious convention center

by Tenzin Updated Jul 9, 2003

Favorite thing: Our Million Dollar Round Table annual convention was held in Bally's and Paris. Few venues can compete with LV's hotels in providing the poshest, grandest etc. of interior decor. After all, the exterior is a flat plain of desert area so there's little sense to compete with other cities in terms of natural beauty. Man-made it is and look how well LV has succeeded doing exactly that.
