Favorite thing: There are TWO ways to enjoy Las Vegas. (1) visit many different casinos if you want a real feel for the variety. OR
(2) On the other hand if you go to gamble and be entertained...pick one home in Las Vegas, sit - relax - have fun.
Fondest memory: having drinks in the Fontana bar at Bellagio with FABULOUS entertainment
the other fondest memory is being asked to break a $5, going to the blackjack table, turning it into a $20, breaking it and giving the person $10 for their $5 while keeping the other half -- all in about two minutes!

Favorite thing: Gamble That's the whole purpose of Las vegas isn't it?
The place is one huge fun park where you more like can loose than win, but it is entertaining doing either.
Fondest memory: Walk The Strip and check out all the new big theme hotels. Like this one Paris Paris

Favorite thing: 'bar' hop from casino to casino. you can walk around with your drinks, so start at treasure island.
play blackjack long enough to get a beer, then go to the mirage. repeat: blackjack, beer. go to caesars palace: repeat. bellagio: repeat. you get the idea! it's a great way to 1. see all the casinos on the strip 2. gamble. 3.drink. This is also the BEST way to gamble: short stays at many tables. Depending on your bankroll, sit down @the table with a goal like: 'when i'm up or down $25, i walk'. i went to about 10 casinos and broke totally even.
Fondest memory: All night benders of drinking, winning, losing, eating... your basic all-out debauchery.
HINT: the absolute best $1.49 you can spend is on a basic-strategy blackjack card. it is the size of a credit card, it is available in every casino gift shop, you are allowed to refer to it at the table, and even if you are the most seasoned player... you will use it! Quick: what do you do if you have a soft 15 against a dealer's 5? hit? double down? stay? the card will tell you!
if you play correct basic strategy, you will be playing the best game in the casino: house edge: 0.5%
This card is especially useful if you drink! (I know). By the way: house edge on slots: around 10%; roulette: 5.25%; poorly played* blackjack: 5-10%. *you know who you are: 'hmmm, let me split these kings against the 3' NO NO NO! sorry, i got off on a rant.

Favorite thing: PLAY TO WIN!!!
Go to Vegas with no fear. Take money that will not hurt your pockets if you lose it! (But you won't lose! THINK POSITIVE! THINK POSITIVE!)
Fondest memory: WINNING!!!
This was one of many slots I scored on in Vegas!
(Pardon the pun!)
$750.00 on a 25 cent slot, not to shabby!

Favorite thing: You should apply for a players club card in each casino-some have little gifts or coupon books for joining. we figure that we can make some sort of decoration but don't think we will be using it too much.

Favorite thing: Gamble without guilt! Take only what you can afford to lose then you won't feel bad when you do cause you will!
Fondest memory: Riverdance-saw it in Chicago several years ago but it just happened to be at The Aladdin so we went and it is still great. Interesting note-their hair was mostly blonde and even in the ads it was dark-maybe they fell into a vat of peroxide!

Favorite thing: If you've never sat down at a real gambling table, you have to try it at least once when you're in Vegas! Afterall, that is what Vegas was originally founded upon. Besides, you can sit at a US$1-$3 table and get free drinks all night long while only losing about $20!

Favorite thing: You must be at least 21 years old to gamble in Las Vegas. If a minor wins a jackpot, they will NOT pay it (according to state law)!
P.S. The drinking age is also 21

Favorite thing: Don't bring your walet with you!
Leave it in the hotel room locked in the safe. Make sure your credit cards are in the wallt

Favorite thing: Leave! Give yourself a time/money limit and run with the coins if you clean up! Run! Run!
Fondest memory: I was so glad that they have those handiwipes all over the place. I admit that I took a few with me.

A: West Rim is closer to Las Vegas, but is a huge tourist trap. It isn't actually located inside Grand Canyon National Park. It's a privately run casino / resort type place.
