    The statue of Siegfried, Roy and one of their famous white tigers outside the Mirage Hotel, stands in honor of the famous performers and the popular long running show which had been performed at the Mirage. I was told that the statue predates the unfortunate injury to Roy Horn who was mauled by a white tiger before a live audience. Miraculously, he survived, but the show was permanently closed. But the statue's presence seems to have a more somber significance after that tragic accident.
