Vegas Vibes, Las Vegas
The first thing you have to do when you get to Vegas is walk down the strip. It doesn't matter whether it's day or night, drop the luggage and set off. You'll wander around, your jaw dropping as you take in the fantastic hotels and the buzz of activity.
Fondest memory: Vegas is a 24 hour city. The place never stops, and as a result there is a real addictive buzz about the place.
Stay up all night if you can, nothing changes, people sit all night in the casino's and nothing ever shuts.
When I got home to the UK, everything shuts at 11pm!
Check out the strip. Of course this goes without saying but it is amazing walking through all the great Super Casinos!
Fondest memory: Most of my fond memories in Las Veags are having great times- any time (24 hours a day) - sightseeing, eating, drinking, and, of course, gambling/winning.
When I was there from 98-99 New Years Eve, that was an awesome time! What a party! The strip is closed off to cars, and there are SO many people, that the cops don't even attempt to control it. The stay cool and hand you plastic cups as you walk around to put your drinks in. What a hoot! Definatly visit Vegas for New Years. You won't ever forget it. I had an awesome time, and I didn't even put a single quarter in a slot!
Below is a picture I took from the top while sitting on my friends shoulders. This is the Strip PACKED with people! Everyone was jumping around, so there was no way to keep the camera still! What a riot!!!
Favorite thing: Buy a cigarr, get drunk, and move along. You're on vacation! You can start a healthy life another day!
Favorite thing: Eat & drink as much as you'd like. This is one of the most economical cities in the U.S. with a zillion choices of fine cuisine from around the world!
I love the excess! I am sure there is not a better place on earth to have a bachelor party.
Fondest memory: Winning $1300
Favorite thing: Vegas is not for the uptight. Just have fun and let this quaint little town grow on you. Just don't drive drunk and run us poor locals down.
Favorite thing: See the lights, hear the sounds in the casinos, feel the excitement, eat in the buffets!!! But then, I don't think you can miss them.
Take a dinner in the 'Stratosphere'
Fondest memory: Walk in the night in the 'Las Vegas Boulevard' and take a break, talk and see the espectacular view of the show of the Bellagio hotel with my wife
Gamble and have fun of course!!! This city have it all then it comes to these two criterias!!!
Fondest memory: All the neon and flashing lights at night.
Favorite thing: Just look around at the lights and listen to the sounds of slot machines paying out and people shouting at the craps table. Everything there is larger than life.
