Las Vegas really earns the monicker "SIN CITY" why? because it is only in Las Vegas where there are lots of Street People (mostly Latinos and female) hand out many different photo cards of Adult entertainers of every stripe and color that offers a variety of "services" to clients whether straight, bisexual, gay, lesbian, transgender and more. these services range from personal strip tease show to more hard core stuff and they charge on a per hour basis and even offeer credit cards. Yes, prostitution is illegal in Nevada but they cirumvent it by having the latino day workers distribute these cards to Las Vegas visitors on the strip. you can collect a variety of these photo and calling cards of the adult performers.

If you can take your eyes off the glitter and glamour of the neon look beyond the horizon to the beautiful mountains surrounding Las Vegas. Waking up each morning and seeing the back drop, as the neon sleeps is one of my favorite times.
So, take a minute to remember and enjoy the beautiful place you are playing.
And sunsets are even more beautiful if you can catch them from a higher view.

It's always nice to receive a postcard from your friends or relatives whenever they do travel. Maybe it's even nicer to see your own card at home?
We did send some card during our travels in America. Also one from Las Vegas to the ones we left home. Once we returned we got our own card back. Funny, and definately worth a place on VT!
BTW have a look at the beatiful Grand Canyon National Park stamp!

Even though, the media makes a big deal of some brothels being legalized in Nevada, I would admit that "Sex sells, but I'm going to tell you though, you should never waste your money on what ain't valuble"

I wonder if the people who named this business realized that "auto" also refers to "automatic"? They were advertisizing 100% hand-washing of cars. Jay Leno would probably pass on this photo for the Tonight Show, but I was still amused.

It does get very busy at the lion enclosure.
Yes you can see the lions above you.
Cool stuff to buy in the shop next door with lions on them, a t-shirt + shirt together with lions on em look cool when wore together.
Cuddly lion toys too.
The lions would be better free.
Okay perhaps those lions would die in days as they have never been free.

Apparently the window washers at the Luxor pyramid, which has lots and lots of mirrored glass windows, actually rappell off the top (or maybe out a window) to wash the windows.
How do I know? We saw them from our very beautiful room in one of the Luxor Tower rooms when my son and I stayed there.
I guess it's not that surprising, just something I wouldn't have thought of.

I wasn't sure where to put this info; it seems too innocuous to be considered a "warning or danger." As you stroll the Strip at night (along with hordes of other tourists), you will hear a "slap slap" noise and see bits of paper or cards being thrust at you. There are tons of people standing along the sidewalks passing out (or trying to pass out) fliers for shows and various other forms of "entertainment" (primarily of the adult variety). They slap the card on their wrist to get your attention, then try to hand it to you. It's easy enough just to ignore them.

A: West Rim is closer to Las Vegas, but is a huge tourist trap. It isn't actually located inside Grand Canyon National Park. It's a privately run casino / resort type place.
