The grand canyon west is the land of the Hualapai nation, if you arrive here you will get the chance to know more about these people and their customs, visit some of their ancient houses and learn about their life style.

    He is always alive..

When in Vegas it is quite common, as a tourist attraction, to meet an Elvis look alike or "impersonator "at events, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, parties, restaurants, etc.to pay tribute to this wonderful evergreen artist

In honor of Siegfried and Roy

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

This plaque outside the Mirage honors performers Siegfried and Roy for the long standing show. The Siegfried and Roy show was closed permanently after Roy Horn was attacked on stage by one of the white tigers used in the show.

The animals from the show are now located in Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden at the Mirage, and the white tigers are on display in a separate area in the hotel.

New York - New York Tribute

by toontraveller Written Apr 10, 2004 79 reviews

After the terible events of 9-11 it's incredible how human emotion can show it's self. At the New York New York resort, Las Vegas visiting firemen began to show their support for those lost in the tragedy by creating their own tribute. They began to hang up shirts from their own fire depertment along the railings of the hotel some with messages and some just plain. When I was last out there plans were being made to make this a permanent tribute.

Amongst the glitz and glamour of Vegas this is a very moving tribute.
