Tourists / Residents, Las Vegas
as everyone knows, Im a big fan of History Network's Pawnstars and on a revisit to Las Vegas, I must visit the Pawn shop and take pictures and if possible take pictures of the Stars like Rick Harrison or the Old Man or Big Hoss and even Chumley but they were not there when I was inside unfortunately, however, I did the next best thing which is buying the souvenir items that I like most which are the refrigerator magnets and shot glasses, they have many kinds of the Shot glasses and with the individual photos of the stars or you can buy them in a set and they sell it between $ 5.99 to $ 8.99 and $ 25 for a 4 piece set.

Vegas does not realy have it's own culture. It's the biggest melting pot you'll find in the area(behind LA). the only culture we have to offer is the unique effect of the gaming machines on the people who live here. Which is...it makes us more moody when we are in a casino. So if you see some pissed off...they live here.
There is no such thing as a native of Las Vegas. Everyone is from somewhere else. Or so it seems. Like Southern california and Houston, Texas there is a large population of people who migrated here for one reason or another. Some chase dreams, some are at their last chance location.
While walking busy areas such as The Strip or Fremont Street, it's best to look like you know what you're doing, like you've been there many times before. Sure, take pictures and have fun, but just as it is in other busy cities, they spot 'tourist suckers' very quickly.
Beware of the Las Vegas Drivers. They're notorious for running the yellow light. They haven't learned the "caution - prepare to stop" on yellow. To a Las Vegan yellow = Hurry up the light is changing!! Check your rear-view mirror before you hit those brakes.
This is a postcard with the locations of the various Native American People. We didn't have enough time to learn or see a Reservation on this trip, but want to learn for the next one (Sept 2002).
