The Seahorse Lounge is a new bar at Caesar's Palace and a very pretty one it is indeed, with the green glass lights imitating sea grass and the blue ceiling creating an underwater ambience. What is special though are the live seahorses in the aquarium as you enter. Stop and watch them -- they are amazing little creatures:)))
Dress Code: Vegas comfortable. Although you might want to dress-up for the champagne :)
Cleopatra's Barge at Caesar's Palace Hotel & Casino is fairly small lounge situated on and around an Egyptian-themed barge set in real water which rocks when the dance floor is crowded. It is open every night between about 8 p.m and 4 a.m. and features a variety of live bands playing top 40 cover music to dance to. The R & B band when we were there was very good and danceable. No cover and reasonably priced drinks (for Vegas at least), but there is a two drink minimum while entertainment is playing.
Dress Code: No sneakers, sandals, tank tops, or jeans (unless they're dress jeans).
Las Vegas shows
Celine Dion started her shows at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas . Her shows take place at the Colleseum over the next three years. Celine will give 200 shows a year. Her first show took place on 25 March 2003.
Pure was a favorite of mine during my Vegas stay. Always a hip crowd there, the decor (and drink prices) is Miami-plush, as is most of Vegas. The crowd here was decent almost every night, and it was a very nice place to go after a PussyCat Dolls show. I had my fill of Red Bull and Grey Goose many a night in here!!!
Dress Code: Dress to impress, you Miami veterans know what I'm talking about- Dress the part, look the part, act the part.
A really great cocktail lounge with the added entertainment of erotic shadow dancers. Sit at the bar and be fascinated by the two Tom Cruise Cocktail barmen throwing the bottles and mixing amazing drinks, but you wont be able to miss the two huge screens behind them with a beautiful naked girl behind each screen doing her thing....and very tastefully! Great dancers but only seen as shadows so the boys were even more interested! They chop and change the girls after every tune.
Dont be put off by the guy on the door stamping your hand as you go in...theres no entrance fee and the drinks were normal Casino lounge prices..between $10 and $12. Try the Apple Martinis.
Dress Code: Business casual...jacket and tie not required but dont expect to get in if you´re in shorts and tee shirts.
You either love her or hate her...I adore her and for someone who has sold more than 175million records worldwide, so do a lot of other people adore Celine Dion. Three years ago Caesars Palace built their Colossuem just for Celine and there she performs Thurs to Saturday during most weeks. Even if you are not a fan you will love this spectacular show. The choreography and special effects are amazing, and the great seating design of this building allows everyone to feel as if they are part of the show. Tickets are not cheap..they range from $87.50 to a massive $225, but hand on heart..they are worth every cent! If you are tempted to go, make sure you visit The Shop after the show for memorabilia...bet you buy something! Show starts at 8.30pm and during July shes only doing 7 performances
I usually stay in or around the hotels when I'm in Vegas, so I don't know much about the clubs.. Usually I stay at Caesar's Palace and although it is an older crowd, it can be fun, Cleopatra's Barge NIghtclub is inside and has a moving boat that people can dance on... For a younger crowd, the Rio is a lot of fun! They also have some great restaurants...For me, it is definitely the most fun casino to hang around in...
There is a performance in the forum shops area with large animatronic figures. In the performance, siblings are battling it out over who will take their father's place (the King). The audience even gets to determine who wins. Also in the center of the forum shops is a huge aquarium. A very tranquil place to rest up!
SHOPPING is a must in Vegas, especially if you're lucky in the casino. Here, you can find all ranges of products & prices to suit your taste & budget.
I love to go to THE FORUM SHOPS (AT CAESARS). Here, you get to shop around sculptures that come to life (at the Festival Fountain Plaza) & upscale stores & restaurants. There are more than 70 speciality retail including Gucci, Fendi, Polo, etc... Planet Hollywood is also here.
For something truely unique, try Cleopatra's Barge which features a dance floor and live music all aboard a real barge surrounded by water.
Dress Code: Dress - Casual Dress
Cleopatra's Barge Nightclub inside Caesar's Palace.........For the price of a drink or two you can hear great entertainment in a wonderful setting.
Top bands play hot Top 40 dance music nightly from 10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. while dancers enjoy the rhythmic rocking of this replica of the magnificent ships that sailed the Nile in ancient Egypt.
Play the Slot Machines at Caesar's.
Great choice of machines all different coins from a nickle up to $5.00.
Dress Code: Most people were well dressed in Sport clothes. There is a huge pool out back so you see a lot of people in swim suits around but not in the game rooms.
PURE Nightclub still brings in the crowds and having experienced the rooftop views, I can see why. Although the door policy is still strict, it was worth the wait. PURE has a number of different rooms each playing a different genre of music. There is something for everyone. Dance floor can get crowded, but you can escape to the rooftop bar and enjoy the view and the downtempo / house beats. Best bet to gain entrance is to bring girls or get bottle service.
Dress Code: Trendy; Strict Door Policy
Pure is a great nightclub with a variety of entertainment. There is the Pussycat Dolls Lounge in one room and various other rooms to get your drink and dance on!!
Dont let the long line fool you.. Most of the time there is plenty of room inside. It is usually free for ladies to get in.
Dress Code: Dress to impress. The better you look the faster you will get in.
At the Caesar Casino / Hotel you can see very nice shows...one of the most popular musical artists of our time, Celine Dion was there when we went - everyone says the shows are just amazing. If that's not in your budget, just walking around the inside and outside of Caesar is very elegant and romantic with the fountains and statues.
