Coyote Ugly - New York New York: Coyotel Ugly Bar

    by julia687 Written Jul 22, 2006

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

I had to pay a visit to Coyote ugly bar as I love the film. Went there well up for it but was slightly disappointed, there wasnt much atmostphere and most people in there were couple with the guys getting off on their gals dancing dirty on the bar.
pleased I've been but not the atmostphere i was expecting and the $10 cover fee seemed a little steep, it is just a bar afterall.

Entering through a gold-mirrored mosaic tunnel, patrons can choose to dance on the elevated bamboo dance floor surrounded by a computer-programmed "river" of water, or luxuriate in the private and VIP environments that include cabanas with mini-bars and specialty furniture, private booths with water sofas or sky boxes with private balconies and self controlled interior experience..this is the club that the real world kids on mtv danced at!

Good vibe. Sometimes features world class DJ's. Just beware that cover charges may suddenly increase when there is a great feature DJ. I've gone when its jumped from $10 up to $80. No thanks!

    Where isn't a nightlife spot...

by snmred Written Sep 12, 2002

Where isn't a nightlife spot in Vegas. Almost everywhere you go there is something to see or do. If you want to go out dancing, the best place is the Beach, it's off the strip and not as many tourists are there, it's where the locals go. If you want to hang out in a bar then Red Square in Mandalay Bay is very nice.

Dress Code: For the Beach, it's no tank tops and shoes required like any other club. For Red Square it's a bit classier. Not necessarily a tie but at least nice slacks for the guys and the girls, all you gotta do in Vegas is look good and you can just about wear anything you want.

I have no one favorite place...

I have no one favorite place but be sure check out HUSH. Located on the 19th floor of Polo Towers inside the Sky Lounge, HUSH has spectacular 180-degree views of the Las Vegas Strip, with ample seating and an easily accessible bar. The club also includes the rooftop pool deck. The lounge area is dimly lit with soft background music and a relaxed vibe. The rooftop pool deck features: 21 Moroccan cabanas, a dance floor, DJ booth and a live performance area. Furniture on the rooftop is laid back, with six oversized elevated beds and plenty of bench seating.
    Great view of the city

Dress Code: Casual attire. No baggy, ripped or pool attire.

C2K: This club is pretty huge, haven't been here either but they play hip-hop, trance, and house music.
This club is really big I heard so it takes awhile for it to get crowded sometimes.

    The Drink: The Drink

by donovanel Written Aug 25, 2002

    1.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

The Drink has two-levels and four bars. The dance floor takes up the majority of the club. The decor is a cross between a '70s retro and an industrial motif. Seating is sparse, but if you can find one, the sofas are very comfortable. The upstairs looks down on the dance floor and that’s about all you can do upstairs. There are two additional rooms that occasionally offer an alternative to the music in the main room.

The Drink has been through many phases since its inception - from one of the best known clubs in town to being non-existent. Last year, Club Utopia temporarily took over The Drink due to a fire that its building suffered. Now that Utopia has moved back into its building on the Strip, The Drink has resumed business on a limited basis. Currently The Drink is open on Saturdays and hosts a Hip Hop night. This is pretty much the only club in town that has a true Hip Hop night, so expect a crowd.

Dress Code: Attire: No tennis shoes, tank tops or baggy jeans.

  • Gambling, Drinking, Dancing is...

Gambling, Drinking, Dancing is the Vegas Lifestyle. Each hotel has its own band entertaining guests. The big Vegas nightclubs are at the MGM(Studio 54), Venetian(C2K), Mandalay Bay(Rum Jungle and House of Blues)and Hard Rock Cafe(Baby's). Depending on the day of the week, each club has a different theme. For early morning fun, hit Drai's at the Barbary Coast for after partying and any of the strip clubs which hosts dancing after hours parties until 11am.
