    Very Adult Spot: Collecting

    Las Vegas - USA

I collect stamps, coins and postcards.
In Las Vegas I almost decided to start a new collection - girl's cards. Each minute, in each corner, discreetly, a guy slided to my hand a card with a beautiful woman as naked as allowed, with friendly suggestions.
In a couple of nights, with full pockets, I only received five repetitions - 4 blonds and one oriental.
    Who wants to exchange?

    Rockhouse Bar & Nightclub: Dancing

by Africancrab Written Aug 28, 2012

The music was mostly hip-hop/rap/top 40. None of that horrific trance, techno, Electronica that so many Vegas clubs play. The place was popping and it was fun for the little time we spent there. The place has a name that precedes it, however I was not amused by the fact that there was absolutely no room to move around when it got slightly busy. It was a smoking bar so the secondary smoke was doing more damage to my eyes than anything else.

Drinks were over priced. I bought a double shot of rum and cola for $14.00. I honestly have little to write about this bar. One thing for sure, you will not find ladies dressed up to the night. More causal dressing, jeans and all.

Dress Code: jeans, dress pants, dress . . .

  • Glitter Gulch: Beware of Glitter Gulch scam

by VegasVeteran Written Jan 2, 2012

This place is a total scam. My wife and I had two dancers drag us off to a booth (in hindsight this was after they noticed my wife's $20,000 ring), dance for us for three songs, then tell us it was $35 each for 3 songs. Overpriced, but fine, except then they told us they had given us 9 dances even though we weren't in the booth more than 10-15 minutes.

They then teamed up to try and keep my wife and I away from each other so we couldn't communicate and wouldn't let us leave without paying. They overcharge you 20% to use credit card to deter chargebacks, and take all of your information including a scam of your thumb print (pretty obvious this is over-excessive to see through their scam). The management said there was nothing they could do about it. Another couple had the same problem while we were there. Basically, when you enter this place you are agreeing to be harassed, over-charged, and scammed. We negotiated down our price, paid and got out of there, now I'm just hoping they don't overcharge us more or have other scams going based on having so much of your personal information.

It doesn't help either that these two girls weren't even attractive, and the other girls in the venue weren't any better. One was drunk and falling down all over the place. Another dancer was over 180lbs, and the only other dancer we saw looked like a horse.

Lastly, I suggest you not believe anything the 'management' say in their comments responding to reviews online, they are trying to mitigate the reviews so they can continue to scam people. Find a different place to go - this place is likely to ruin your vegas vacation, especially if you go with your wife!

  • Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen's Club: beware

by DJeanR Written Jul 17, 2011

I had to pick up a friend that visited the Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen's Club. He was very confused, obviously did not smell of alcohol. He called from the shopping center located near by the club. Said he felt drugged & could not remember how he got there or most the night after drinking a beer in the Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen's Club. After reading other reviews, this has happened at this club before. Stay away form this place! I wanted him to call the cops, but he wouldn't. I guess some one has to get hurt or killed before something is done about this place!

Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen's Clubs are scattered throughout southern California, Idaho, New Mexico, Florida and Ohio and they have one club in Las Vegas. They are also worldwide in the UK, Australia and Europe.

Of the three Gentlemen's Clubs I visited this trip to Las Vegas (The Sapphire & Club Paradise were the other two clubs), I liked the Spearmint Rhino best as it was classy from the time I stepped out of a cab onto the foyer until the time the valet called for a cab for me later in the evening. I would recommend this club.

This is a 21 and over club with a $20 cover charge.

The club has a full line of excellent drinks at reasonable prices and has a gift shop area at the reception desk.

There was a large number of entertainers on the Monday night I visited and while the club was full or nearly full, there was less crowding of tables, couches, etc. than in the other two clubs.

Again, I was impressed with the cleanliness and security staff and there did not seem to be any pressure to purchase drinks or dances. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed and the music at a comfortable level.

Dress Code: This is one club where casual clothes or regular street clothes do not mix. Dress nice and you will be provided a nice level of service.

Like all Las Vegas Gentlemen's Clubs that offer full alcohol service, the minimum age to enter is 21.

Jaguar's: A night out with the boys at the nudie joints

    by Shaft28 Updated Apr 4, 2011

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Many may disapprove, but the fact is Vegas is a hot bed of strip clubs. It has been a couple years since I'd been to any until this past weekend for my bachelor party.
I have to say Jaguar's is much better than anything I'd been to before.
Beautiful building, high ceilings, many striperific women and loud music. This is not your standard sit by the stage and toss us $1 bills - more of a place that pushed lap dances. $20 a lap dance, $100 for 3 songs in the VIP room and think there are 1/2 hour and full hour options.
Unlike Saphirre's or Olypmic Garden's once you get to the VIP room there is no $300 bottle of wine to buy. Straight up $100 bucks and you get the dances.
$20 admission tot he club but that will be the least you'll spend all night. Drinks are pricey, so be prepared. Worth is compared to all the crappy plces in Vegas.
We had 12 guys and it was insane. Had a great time.

Dress Code: No sneakers or ball caps.

  • Spearmint Rhino: Everything is wrong at the Spearmint Rhino

by rstein Written Mar 9, 2011

Inaccurate signature and finger print on your credit card bill.
Those of you who goes into the VIP room and come out drunk or don't remember what happen the next day, you should double-checked your credit card bill and receipt or contest the bill with your credit card company. Here is what happens most of the time. When you are completely drunk, it’s the Host’s and Dancers' job to get you to drink and much as possible. The more you drink, the more you will spend and the more you will not know what is going on or what you sign off on in term of your bills. Noticed I wrote bills instead of bill? That is because the host will continue to fill out the credit card slips and have you sign off on it. Here is the important part. If the host feels that you are completely drunk and don't know what is going on, they will sign the credit card slip and put their finger print on it. They will try and mimic the signature on your ID as you have to give them your ID for a photocopy in when you run big tabs. So if you wake up the next day or when you get your statement and be in shock, do call and contest it. If you call the Spearmint Rhino back, they will tell you that its you who sign off on it as they have a photo copy of your ID and your finger print on the credit card slip. Well, if you don't remember what happen, then most likely its your photo ID they have but not your signature or your finger print but someone else. Now the managers, the hosts and the owners all know about this. They just don't talk about it. Contest it with your credit card company and ask for a copy of the signature and finger print as by law they have to supply that to your credit card company. Also, by law, they are now suppose to serve you any more alcohol when you are wasted or the cashiers are not suppose to get you more money or chips when you are wasted. Know this and tell your credit card company you were completely wasted and had no idea what happened and you were taken advantage of. One more thing, use an AMERICAN EXPRESS instead of VISA or MASTERCARD. American Express will always stand behind their customers.

Dress Code: Complain about Cashier tipping.
When I was at the Rhino, the darn cashiers up front keep pressuring me to tip them. I told one of the girls why should I tip you when you don't do crab for me nor do you show me any skin whereas the strippers in the back do for the tips. She told me don't be an a-hole and get lost. What a B***H! Also, the cashiers go through your stuffs (coats, bags, etc.). When you first enter the Spearmint Rhino, make sure you double-checked your stuffs if you are going to check-in anything. The cashiers up front will take your jacket, bags, etc. and they will go through the pockets or bag to see if there is any money left in there. If so, they just pocket it. The cashiers tend to short-change you as well. Make sure you count your changed money again. When you walk up to the cage in the back and change your $50 or $100 bill for $5s or $1s, the cashier sometime will give you back less than what you suppose to get and then pocket the money for themselves.

Get drugged inside the VIP Room.
If you are deep pocket or a high roller and decide to go into the VIP room where you have to pay $400 up front and then there is bottle service, be ware. Now what I am about to say does not happen all the time but it does happen. A lot of the time, when you are at a strip club, you are wasted. When inside the VIP room, some of the veteran girls will drug you. The more wasted you are, the more they will get you to commit to more money. You will sign off on credit card bills and tips as you don't know what you are doing due to being drunk and drugged. Here is the sick part to it. If you go in there will your girlfriend or wife, they will try and drug her first as they want her out of the way so they can get you to do stupid things when you noticed your date is out cold. Noticed I used the term “they.” That is because it happens a lot easier when they tag team you. In other words, there are multiple dancers to distract you and your date.

  • Very Adult Spot: Nude vs Topless

Got the chance to go club hopping but just wanted to check out the vibe in the strip clubs. First, not a lot of clubs let you in when you're the only girl. You have to have a male escort. Trust me, the only male escort I would have would be a gay boy and they don't want to see what I want to see. So my gf and I were able to get into Little Darlings and Deja Vu Showgirls. They give you a free limo ride back and forth from clubs. The guys work off of tips, so keep that in mind. It's Free for locals to get in, but you have to pay a $10 unlimited drink charge at Little Darlings. It's free to get in until 11 at Showgirls, but of course you have to pay for the drinks.
Both places had really sexy ladies...one right after the other. With so much variety, make sure you watch them like twice before you choose one you want to get a lap dance from.
They give you special attention if you tip them while they're on stage..so have fun and play with where you make them take the dollar. Some will play along..others will just smile.
$20 for a lap dance at both places, although Showgirls has more mores and more stages to watch the girls.
Oh, Showgirls serves alcohol and Little Darlings doesn't.
We went to check out can-can room and OG as well, but we had way more fun at Little Darlings. I would suggest getting as much alcohol as you can at Showgirls, then taking the limo to Little Darlings!

Dress Code: Casual to semi nice. No backwards hats or bandanna.

Most of the older hotels: The Burlesque Show

by joiwatani Written Apr 25, 2009

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Most of the expensive shows are not really worth it- for me personally! My husband and I went to a Burlesque Show and paid $55/per person and it was a total disappointment. It was just a bunch of young women dancing in sring bikini in a rope.

The worst part is that they have to drag a person from the audience to participate on stage! I thought that was awful! How about if that particular person was married and his wife was not even there? They undressed the poor guy on stage on a lazy chair!

This kind of shows to me are awful because they should not use audience participation in a very awkward situation. Who would like to watch a chubby middle aged man on stage undressed by a young woman?

Also, they kill time by having this woman on stage performing as a stand-up comedian! We didn't pay $55 to watch stand-up comedy! Her jokes were awful. Nobody was laughing! It was a waste of our time and money!

  • Girls of Glitter Gulch: Worst possible experience

    by chris5143 Updated May 3, 2008

First off has a 20 dollar cover which seems a bit much. Girls are not that attractive, club is small and dumpy. Girls are pushy in the extreme in this place, they are like the worst used car salesman multiplied by a factor of 100. Went for a bachelor party in 08 and it was a terrible experience, not just for a club but an awful life experience, like paying to get in a car wreck or something. Practically ruined the entire trip to vegas. Avoid this club at all costs.

Very Adult Spot: The Girls of Glitter Gulch

    by St_Vincent Updated Nov 3, 2007

If you fancy a little adult entertainment but want to feel safe and not get ripped off (well not too much) try The Girls of Glitter Gulch. It is right in the Fremont Street tourist area, at the Plaza end, and is a fairly tasteful topless dancing bar. On entering, the door staff will call a waitress who will find you a seat either in a booth or alongside the stage. There is no entrance fee but you will be expected to buy two drinks, around $20, when you first arrive. Thereafter you pay $1 a dance to the girls on stage. If you run out of $ bills don't worry, go up to the raised area and the back and you will find a "Dancing Dollars" booth where they will break larger bills into $1 bills. You will be asked if you want a private lap dance, around $30, but there is no pressure. If you don't want to just say no thanks and provided you are polite none of the girls will take offence. The other thing to note about this club is that it attracts quite a lot of couples and the ladies seem to have as much fun as their partners.

Dress Code: Smart casual seems to be expected
