Club Paradise --A Very Adult Spot: Club Paradise the #2 world-rated Gentlemen's Club

by TheTravelSlut Updated Aug 24, 2006

    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Askmen. com rated the Paradise Club #2 in the world for various reasons. Club Paradise says it is also where Playboy Bunnies and Penthouse Pet's come to earn extra money between modeling assignments and that it has been voted "The Best Club in the Nation" two years in a row.

The club itself is quite upscale, relatively small and the music a little loud. There is one stage and it features both traditional Gentlemen's Club entertainment but also some acts that you might find on the Las Vegas strip in a Las Vegas-type show & revue. The entertainers here are athletic & acrobatic.
There is a "couples" atmosphere in addition to the regular party groups. The VIP room caters to the VERY UPSCALE crowd and due to its location across the street from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, celebrities could be expected.

Cover charges vary but average $20-25, there is excellent screening & security, adequate lighting but the women's restroom is located inside the dressing area of the entertainers.

Dress Code: Definitely no jeans and a collared shirt and long pants for men and a dress or club wear for women is expected. Again, as in most places in Las Vegas at night, club wear or "dressy" clothing is preferred but a generous tip to a host or hostess will sometimes allow extra consideration.

World's Largest Gentlemen's Club-The Sapphire Club: The Travel Slut does as the conventioners do...

by TheTravelSlut Updated Aug 23, 2006

    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

The Sapphire Club is one huge club. There is adequate parking, including valet and a red carpet drop-off for limos & taxis and the entrance is lined with sculpted art of torsos in bronze and other metals.

I would recommend this club as it is very clean, upscale and has more than enough security. Many of the tables were occupied by couples and the age range appeared to be 21-70. The drinks were pricey @ $5-10 but they were not watered down and there was no pressure to either buy additional drinks nor for dances. There are two stages and several hundred seats. A generous tip to the host will most likely bring you to a table to your liking.

The club is topless only, serves full alcohol and is for 21 and over. The typical cover charge is usually $30.00 per person (females and couples get a discount) and the club features many private rooms, lounges and V.I.P. areas. The webpage under club photos really reveal how nice the club is.

And on Friday & Saturday nights from10 PM to 2 AM, a club within a club has the Sapphire Club and Playgirl sponsoring a "Men of Sapphire" male revue and interestingly enough, men and couples are allowed as are photographs only in the Playgirl Lounge. Cover charge is usually $25.00 and there is crowd interaction and selected females brought on the stage (usually soon-to-be brides at bachelorettes parties).

Dress Code: Dressing up in Las Vegas means more than a clean t-shirt and birkenstocks.

The nicer you dress, the more attention you will get by hosts, hostesses, maitre'd's, etc. Besides you will feel better if you dress up a little because a "night on the town" should be something special.

    Gilleys: Cold Beer, Dirty Girls

    by sev52 Written May 30, 2006

This is an interesting bar. There is a mechanical bull people can try and ride, but the real purpose comes out later. Strippers skimp down into their bikinis on the bulls later on in the night. It gets interesting when girls from the crowd start joining in.

A good place to have a couple of drinks before going out somewhere else.

No cameras and lots of hicks.

    Dress Code: casual

    Olympic Gardens: adults only

    by Graeme_Webb Updated Jan 28, 2006

The Olympic Garden is known as one of the world's largest "adult cabarets", thats what they call it any way.

Inside there is the 'OG Room' and the 'Garden Room' they also have a VIP Room. This is where the "Dream Girls" are.

Upstairs on the second floor is a 7000 sq. ft. venue where they have the 'Men of Olympus' each Wednesday-Sunday (this is for for the ladies). I dont know what thats like because I did not go up stairs.

It cost us $20 to et in but that included 2 free drinks, although expect to tip the waitress even on your free drinks a $1 is fine, at least it something.

A very enjoyable night, My two free drinks lasted me a couple of hours, I wish I had taken a couple more $1 bills. Best dollar I ever spent was in there, LOL. You should go for yourself you'll see whats unique about it.

Dress Code: None to my knowledge but I would not turn up in shorts and a t-shirt. A pair of chinos and a shirt would be fine.

    Double Down Saloon ...

by ricknkat Updated Jan 19, 2006

    Double Down Saloon

Cross-dressers, college geeks and bikers living in total harmony. The Double Down is an old favorite of mine. It is nestled in the middle of 3 or 4 gay bars, (though not one itself exclusively) and right behind the Thomas & Mack Center at UNLV. It is low key with good priced drinks and a goodly amount of live music throughout the week. Walking/staggering distance from the Hard Rock (Author?s note: I used to live across the street in a fleabag apartment called Chalet Vegas).
great wall murals, kicking jukebox. Highly recommend the house favorite, 'Ass Juice' but heed the warning on the sign above the bar that says, "If you puke, you clean it up."

Dress Code: way casual but leather will probably get you a stiffer drink

The Freakin' Frog Beer & Wine Cafe: The Freakin' Frog - Great place for a beer

    by St_Vincent Updated Oct 30, 2005

    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

If you've done a few casino bars, got fed up drinking Bud Light, and want a decent beer in a proper bar fear not, there is an antidote to the noise and neon, just jump in a cab and ask for the Freakin' Frog.

It looks a bit like a warehouse but don't let that put you off. A bar with stools runs along the left-hand side and the right has booths and tables with inlaid brewery adverts. There is a small raised stage, a jukebox and a big screen showing sports, news and films. The bar is mercifully free of video poker machines with the only semblance of gaming being an old Ms Pacman machine in the corner. Open Mon-Sat with hours proudly proclaimed as "11am until the freakin' fun is done".

They also claim to have the largest selection of beers in Nevada and beer is really what this place is all about. There were 10 beers on tap including Chimay, Old Speckled Hen, Alaskan Smoked Porter, plus beers from Sierra Nevada, Rogue and local brewery Big Dog. Out back there is a whole room full of 300+ beers that are listed in folders on the bar.

The eclectic food menu is functional rather than flashy and as such complements the drinking experience rather than interfering with it. My tip is to try the Mac 'n' Cheese triangles, or Crack 'n' Cheese as they are known locally for their addictiveness.

Apart from the excellent selection of beers, the best thing about this bar is the people. The staff are all friendly and, along with owner Adam, they are all knowledgeable and passionate about the beers. The upstairs room was being developed into a whisky bar during my visit and this is now open according to the website.

Although I suspect people travel some way to visit this bar, much of the clientele comes from the nearby University and I had a great time with the three criminal law students who "adopted" me for the afternoon. It's possibly not a place for the typical Vegas tourist but if you want a break from all the hype & neon, and staying sober is not high on your agenda, give it a visit, you wont be disappointed.

    Drais: Drai's

by goingsolo Updated Jun 15, 2004

    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Drai's was recommended as one of the most popular late night places to go in Las Vegas. One of the Vegas cabdrivers told me that it was a place where "strippers hangout and men go to meet them." I don't know if that information is true or not, but I'm just passing it along.

Drai's is open Weds through Sun beginning at midnight

Dress Code: See above. No seriously, Vegas nightclubs and bars tend to be more than casual. Unless you know the guy at the door, I wouldn't recommend jeans.

Sin City is showing more skin. A lot of it.

The 71,000-square-foot Sapphire Gentlemen's Club, is billed as the world's largest strip club in Las Vegas.

The Sapphire has four stages (one an elevated glass showcase) and 13 "skyboxes". Up to 800 strippers on busy nights.

The $30 million complex boasts marble bathrooms, lavish d├ęcor and a steakhouse.

This is the most money put into a strip club, the lobby is said to feel like a Four Seasons hotel.

    Entry costs $20.
