Caesars Palace has so many wonderful statues located in so many courtyards, fountains, nitches, entry ways and exits. Decorating the drive-up entrance are some beautiful replicas of Venus, Michael, and Hebe. There are three more to the right of entrance, but I did not photograph those. I will next time:)

Whenever we stay at the Grand Desert, we get free transportation to her sister hotel, which Harrah's. We must have passed by this very unique statue a so many times. It is just one of those show pieces Harrah's has available for people to take some fun photo's with. It is located towards that back entrance as the end of the gaming floor if your interested to see this fun couple. We watched one gentleman try to pull at the dollars bills to see if he could free it and nope, it was not budging....lol!.

Just another feature I thinks gets unappreciated. I find everything fascinating and find these beautiful pieces of architecture.

If you look closer at the chandelier in La Salso Cantina the glass is shaped like champagne glasses. The other very unique chandelier is at the entrance of PH Miracle Mile Mall. Each of the crystals hang separately to create the sphere.

As you come thru the entrance, along the walls & ceilings in the Venetian are some of the most impressive paintings. There are suppose to be replicas of paintings by four different artists—Tiepolo, Rici, Pellogrini, and Bambino of 17th an 18th centuries. I am always in awe whenever we come to the Venetian.

    Paris Ballon

Has anyone just looked up and marveled at the replicated architecture of each of the themes of the casino's? Every time we go I notice something new. Paris Hotel & Casino has the Eiffel Tower and one aspect I think gets lost is the beautiful ballon. This is suppose to represent that brothers Joseph-Michel Montgolfier and Jacques-Étienne Montgolfier inventors of the montgolfière (hot air balloon) globe aérostatique. The brothers succeeded in launching the first manned ascent, carrying Étienne into the sky. Now a replica stands proudly in front of Paris Hotel and Casino for of us to enjoy.

    Hippocampus

The hippocampus often called a sea-horse, which is a mythological creature shared by Phoenician and Greek mythology, though the name is Greek; it is part of Etruscan mythology also. These are lovely replica's located along the sidewalk strip as part of Caesars Palace. They are massive and very beautiful to me.

The original Neptune fountain (Fontana del Nettuno) on the Piazza della Signoria in Florence, Italy by Bartolomeo Ammannati is magnificent in photographs, but if your like me and do not have the opportunity to travel just yet, then to see something so grand and though not the real one, this one is beautiful too.

I found a blurb on the internet that two of these sculptures were favorite cocktail-waitresses from the early days of Caesar's in Las Vegas. I wonder if it is true. It is the center piece of the check in lobby of Caesars Palace.

Venus by Bartolomeo Ammannati (June 18, 1511 – April 13, 1592) was an Italian architect and sculptor, born at Settignano, near Florence. This replica is a little different and is located between Cesars Palace and Monte Carlo's front couryards. She was getting her picture taken a lot.

This replica is located by the drive-up entrance to Cesars Palace and is the center piece of this huge fountain. The original is called Raptio (bride kidnapping, abduction, or I do not want to use the other term) of Sabine by Giambologna, Original in the Loggia dei Lanzi in Florence.

The other sculpture is of a rider trying to mount a wild horse.

    Hidden Gardens of Bally's

What is sometimes overlooked are the hidden features that many casino's have along the strip. Bally's has a hidden garden at the sides of the main entrance of the people mover to the casino. Most people just get onto the people mover, but on the way out we took the sidewalk along the water features so the boys could enjoy splashing eachother and to cool off in the gardens. A very lovely spot to rest.

Does anyone else ever admire the murals or the decore when checking in at the front desk of a mega resort or casino? Each one is completely unique and beautiful. I love murals and the murals behind the fronts desk are all exceptional.

Although, Fremont Street has a fabulous electronic show, Casino's, shops, restaurants, hotels, bands, but has some other unique entertainers. When we were there recently, they had celebrity impersonators. You just never knew who might be standing next to you.
