    1.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Luggage and bags: Standard business luggage.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: It is blistering, breathtaking, sweltering hot in the summer. Wear the lightest, light colored clothes you can find. I generally wear light colored Hawaiian shirts or earth tones. In winter, dress like you would for Fall. Light jackets and sweaters are more than enough.

Photo Equipment: Bring any kind of camera but remember this. NO PICTURES IN THE CASINO. Security will escort you to a holding cell and they will confiscate the film.

    Miscellaneous: Sun block, floppy hats

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Definitely bring something to dress up in--guys a button down shirt and nice pants, girls a black dress or something equivalent--it's just nice to dress up for the evenings even though the casinos don't really have dress codes, but some of the clubs do. Swimsuit for sure if you want to hit the pool/hot tub, and I would definitely bring a black cardigan or something that you can wear if it gets chilly at nite--I went in summer and froze so I had an excuse to shop.

Photo Equipment: You can literally buy anything you may have forgotten, but a camera is a necessity with a roll or 2 of film

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Don't forget warm clothes in the winter. I konw it's the desert, but it does get cold, wet and windy here. And dress for the occaision, we're tired of looking at knobby-kneed tourist in our restaurants. Very casual attire is fine for the buffet, but would you dress like that in a restaurant at home?

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: All year bring sun screen and chapstick.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Vegas has two very distinct seasons, hot and cold! It's hot (around 100 F) from about May to September, October/November are good times to go not too hot in the day, but it cools off alot in the evening. From December to March it get's pretty cold (to me at least - around 45 F). April/May are good times to go, things are just starting to warm up.
So, pack accordingly (not that you're outside all that often).

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bring a sweater! Even though Las Vegas is located in the middle of the desert and is very arid and hot both day and night, you will need a sweater to wear inside the hotels and restaurants, because of the airconditioning settings.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: It is very hot in the summer! I'm talking scorching hot sometimes. It's wonderful though. Just pack as cool as you can. In the winter time.. Just regualar winter clothes are fine. Nothing serious.

    Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Any

    Photo Equipment: Any.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: go to be comfortable.
today for most shows you can go in casual clothes.
There are fine restaurants in Vegas so if you intend to visit one of these you may want to at least put on a dinner jacket (men or women).

Vegas is WARM in Fall, Winter, and Spring,
Vegas is HOT in summer...very hot!!
    dress appropriately

Photo Equipment: Many people like to take their camera and snap pictures. IF YOU DO... hang on to it. Las Vegas is not worse than any other big city. But just because you are in a casino does not mean that all of those guards will guarantee no one will grab your camera or bag! There is VERY tight security.
BUT.... one SCAM is for someone to stumble near you or even throw something on the floor. You reach over to help them and .... Someone else grabs your camera or bag

Luggage and bags: Las Vegas is in the desert. The tempeture gets to be about 115 degrees in the summer, if you happen to visiting in the vinter the jacket is definetely recommended. It's a lot colder here than you'd think.
There are certain places when fashion is more important than comfort-rumjungle, Studio 54 or Ra.
However, when you're slumming around during daylight, hours, casino hopping or standing in line for a buffet, wear your comfy shoes. After all, you don't want your fashionable shoes to rub blisters when you're vamping i up at C2K.
Make sure you've packed your specially selected Band-Aid
