    Capriotti's Sandwich Shop: Spectacular Subs!

This sandwich shop from Wilmington, Delaware has been around since 1976 and started as a small, family owned, buisness for "real turkey lovers!" Success allowed the family to eventually branch out and franchaise all across the U.S.

I located one in the food court area at the Red Rock Casino, though it did take me some time to actually FIND the food court!

Favorite Dish: The Bobbie, their signature sandwich, is great if you like cranberry sauce with your turkey.
The hot mushroom cheese steak sandwich is my favourite, I'd kill to have one right now!

There is a 9, 12, and 20" size available, prices range from (about) $4.74 to $13.75 per sandwich. Photo depicts the small, 9"size.

Capriottis: Delicious Cheesesteak Subs in Vegas

    by aussie79 Written Jan 2, 2003

    Capriotti's

    Eight Las Vegas locations

The "Best of Delaware" cheesesteak awards plastered on the walls of these terrific submarine sandwich shops were not awarded randomly. Capriotti's makes a topnotch cheesesteak, and it is no accident that you often queue up to order one.

The meat is thinly sliced according to the owner's specifications, then grilled to order. Onions and peppers are optional, as they are in most of the top Philly establishments. The rolls are firm and chewy, baked fresh daily by a local bakery. The Capriottis, who moved here from Delaware, have tried scrupulously to reproduce their favorite sandwich here. The result is the best cheesesteak in the city, a generous, meaty, messy sandwich.

This isn't what you'd call a cheesy version. The "Cheese Whiz" option isn't offered, so you can have either provolone or American, both of which are nicely melted into the roll by the hot, juicy meat. A 9-incher, plenty for the average appetite, is $6, and 50 cents extra gets you fresh grilled mushrooms, an option which seems unreasonably indulgent, given how big and filling these sandwiches are.

4983 W Flamingo Rd Ste D, Las Vegas, NV 89103
3830 E Flamingo Rd Ste E5, Las Vegas, NV 89121
450 S Buffalo Dr Ste 103, Las Vegas, NV 89145
7291 S Eastern Ave Ste F, Las Vegas, NV 89119
7440 W Cheyenne Ave Ste 101, Las Vegas, NV 89129

Favorite Dish: I usually get the cheesesteak with mushrooms and greenpeppers. It's absolutely delicious and it never fails when I'm eating my sub, my family members want a "bite"

I live in California, but I am originally from Delaware. Anyway there is a sub shop from Delaware that is also in Vegas. It's Capriotti's Sandwich Shop, 8450 W Sahara Ave # 116. It's the best sub you can get in the west!
This isn't a bargain place to go or anything fancy, just good food!

Favorite Dish: The Turkey Sub!!!!! Mmmmm Real Turkey. Fresh Bread.
