Mandalay Bay and the Rio Seafood Buffet were our favorites. Mandalay bay provides all the champagne and steak and seafood you can stand to eat. The Rio is best for all the lobster in addition to all sorts of other seafood and salads.

I wouldn't pick a favorite because there are so many so I suggest you just check around and see who has the best buffet deal for that day.Almost every hotel has a buffet special at some time of the day.

La Salsa! I know it's a chain restaurant, but I absolutely love the food there!!

The Brown Derby! What an atmosphere!

    Peppermill! Love that Fireside Lounge!
The atmosphere of all three restaurants is pure Vegas! The Peppermill is just 70's retro and way cool!

Favorite Dish: Taquitos Munoz! A quick and easy answer for your hunger if you are in a hurry, or just want a light dinner or lunch.

Tiramisu! The absolute best I've ever eaten!

Gyros! They love it when you call them 'yee-ros'!

Buffets abound in Vegas. I've been to the buffet in the Bellagio, Paris, Monte Carlo, Luxor, and the Flamingo Hilton -- and my pick is Paris! Yes! The $15 is worth it! Other non-buffet places that I like in Vegas were the Cheesecake Factory in the Forum Shops (Caesar's Palace) and the Stage Deli (also in Forum Shops).
What I loved about the Cheesecake Factory and the Stage Deli was that their portions were HUGE! No kidding! Definitely worth your money!

Dining inside Caesar's Palace Mall can be an exhilerating experience indeed...

There are so many lovely cafes and restaurants to choose from... like the Monopoly Cafe to the Star Wars Cafe amongst the many.

And if your boyfriend/ husband is paying for dinner, bring him to Spago's. ;-))

Las Vegas is slowly becoming one of the best in America when it comes to fine cuisine. I don't have a favorite restaurant but I can name a couple. The Seafood Buffet in the Bellagio is great, Emeril's in the MGM Grande, Bertollini's in Caesar's palace for Italian food, The Cathay House and Sam Woo's Barbequeue in Chinatown, and Gallagher's Steakhouse in New York New York Hotel and of course oxtail soup and Hawaiian food in the California Hotel Downtown. I just recently went to the Regent Hotel in Summerlin and they have this cafe called Ceres Cafe and its beautiful, away from the strip, elegant with great service and food. Its very cheap for a 5 star hotel. Breakfast runs between $2.95-$7 with steak and eggs for $3.50.
You can always find specials past midnight for dirt cheap and the food is always good when you're happily drunk or sober and still having a good time!!!!!

Favorite Dish: There is a variety of food from every culture that you will find in Las Vegas. You will never starve in this town since almost all the restaurants are open 24 hours or until the wee hours.

CozyMels (Mexican); The Outback Steak House; In-N-Out Burger
CozyMels and Outback are moderate to high priced but the food is great and its a nice atmosphere.

In-N-Out Burger has great burgers and FRESH french fries (you can even see them slicing them), and their Ice-Cream shakes are the best.

    Favorite Dish: Everything is great!

Buffets are king in Las Vegas...

Buffets are king in Las Vegas and you will probably want to try at least one while you are there. Everyone has there own opinion about the best buffets in Las Vegas. My favorite buffets are:

The Orleans - French Market Buffet, The Buffet at Bellagio, The Rio's Carnival World Buffet and Village Seafood Buffet.

Buffets in Las Vegas used to be cheap, but no longer. There is a tremendous variety in quality and price so ask at your hotel for recommendations. The Sunday brunch buffet is particularly high priced so pick another day for your buffet if you are on a budget. Another change in recent years is that kids are now often charged full price. However, some still give a reduced price for kids so ask around. Check with these casinos for reduced prices for kids: Excalibur, Imperial Palace, MGM, Regent Las Vegas and Caesars Palace.

    Happy Eating!!

The casinos usually have good offers on with some very reasonable priced buffets!

Favorite Dish: I know it was definately not the prime steak (it seems to be just about everywhere).
