Vegas, when it comes to food, is noted for the spectacular buffets and the gourmet dining at the hotel resorts and casinos. Now and then, a great BBQ sandwich or BBQ Ribs will do nicely. An easy rider request is filled at the Las Vegas Harley Davidson Cafe located on the Las Vegas "Strip" with a giant scale replica of the Harley Davidson Sportster above the street on the entrance facade to the Cafe. Inside is great comfort food, HOG Motorcycles, celebrity memorabilia, and a gift store filled with Tee-Shirts, Caps, Riding Shirts, and collector pins, shot glasses, and mugs.
Just in case you might be wondering where the term "HOG" originated. Harley Davidson Motorcycles are referred to as "HOG" due to the 1920 Harley racing team's mascot, a pig, that was carried on a victory lap after each race the team won.
From that reference came the Initials H.O.G., in 1983, for the Harley Owners Group, the largest factory-sponsored motorcycle club in the world.
Also, the Harley Davidson Company was listed on the New York Stock Exchange as HOG starting in 1987.*

An American staple, BBQ, is always a delight and a real pleaser for the hungry. The BBQ Baby Back Ribs are tender and moist and a full rack of the house smoked ribs are served with baked beans and cole slaw. Now, if that won't tickle your palate, then maybe what I enjoyed will. The Wild Hog BBQ Plate that has all the BBQ goodies with a combo of baby back ribs, Carolina pulled pork (my favorite), chicken, and sausage. Not only do you get the great baked beans, and cole slaw, but the all American corn on the cob, as well. Now that is mighty fine fixin's.
Carolina pulled pork sandwich with french fries; homemade BBQ chicken topped with coleslaw, roasted red peppers and BBQ mayonnaise, served with french fries; smoked brisket topped with coleslaw and sliced red onions on a toasted bun, served with fries and more.
9:00 AM - 11:00 PM Monday-Thursday and
9:00 AM until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Café is closed Christmas Day.

Harley-Davidson ® Cafe has retail on-line memorabilia shop. It's licensee of Harley-Davidson Motor Company and authorized to sell exclusive custom products within the USA.
Well there is a Harley Davidson motorcycle sticking out of the sign so that should give you a clue! The decor is appropriately themed and the food covers the bases from Southern to Cajun to BBQ to Southwestern to Mexican and a few stops on the road in between! There are also plenty of retail opportunities to stock up on your H-D memories.
Favorite Dish:
The Harley Hog Sandwich is a good pulled-pork choice -- but I still prefer Memphis Championship BBQ!
My husband(I assume like most men)has this thing for Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Each time there anything related to it we have to see it!
The place is just so wonderful,,you can`t help yourself from wondering around the place,or even just staring at the walls and pictures.
Favorite Dish:
I remember ordering the Macaroni and cheese,,it was kinda heavy for me,,but it was good.
The restaurant had some neat decor and the motorcycles hanging above moving around the room was cool as was the gigantic one on the outside of the building but the food was only ok. Their outside sign boasts BEST BBQ IN LAS VEGAS...which maybe it is because there aren't many other BBQ restaurants in Las Vegas...but we were disappointed with the taste. The ribs we cooked thoroughly however I don't think they were done in a smoker - seemed more like they were done in an oven. The pork BBQ sauce was average - something that you would buy at the grocery store and the coleslaw was about the same. We got the impression our waiter didn't really want to be there which can often make or break the experience. We are Harley riders and were excited to go to the cafe but left with the opinion that they should stay in the motorcycle business...not the restaurant business. They are riding on their name, not the taste of the food.
We wondered in here quite some time ago, and I was not impressed with the smoking. We thought about sitting outside, but at that time, it was way too hot. I take it is still in business because people must like it to frequent it. If you like this type of atmosphere that is cool, but it was not for me and the hubby.
Yet, that Harley sticking out of the buidling is pretty cool though:-) Very impressive at night.
Well, this isn't MY opinion--but my sister got deathly sick after eating at Harley D Cafe when she went last year! Spent the last 2 days of her trip in her hotel room!
I know this isn't a helpful tip, but at least it's an honest one! lol
Favorite Dish:
Um, after what happened to my sister, I don't think I will be eating there.
As a biker, I find places like this insulting. The sissyfying of our lifestyle so the masses can feel they been around it and still feel safe.
The food here is mundane and overpriced, and so is the beer.
Favorite Dish:
Somewhere other than here. Major tourist trap.
Nice selection of burgers, steak, chicken, wraps, ribs, and appetizers. Custom cocktails, wine and beer are available. Cafe has a Harley store also for picking up your T-shirt.
Favorite Dish:
Harley Hog Sandwich, Carolina pulled pork, served with fries and cole slaw.
The food is really good.
I tried the chicken wings, nachos grande and harley roasted chicken and they are so good!! I strongly recommend these!
Favorite Dish:
Definately the Chicken wings, they are so delicious and little spicy.
