Good size portions. Fresh chips and different types of salsas to start with. There's a bar in the restaurant and it's in the Hard Rock Hotel so major party atmosphere. $10-$15/person.

The Pink Taco is a Mexican restaurant at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. I found the food there to be of average quality compared to other Mexican restaurants I've frequented. I had a burrito that was overcooked, which made the tortilla very difficult to cut through even with a fork and knife. The taste was fine...but you shouldn't need a knife to cut your Mexican food. The standard chips and salsa really didn't impress me either. You get a nice selection of three different salsas, but none of them really stood out to me. The service was reasonable...it took a little while for them to take our order, but they did pretty well keeping our drinks full and getting the food out to us in a timely fashion. The atmosphere is loud and brash, with the bar located in the middle of the restaurant. Personally, I was not really impressed with the place as a restaurant...I've had far better Mexican food for a far cheaper price, and there are so many places in Vegas that far exceed the Pink Taco in terms of quality and value. If you are treating your visit as a quick margarita grab, you probably will be quite satisfied. There is usually plenty of good people watching at this joint. The Pink Taco is in the Hard Rock Hotel. 2 for 1 beers and margaritas for Happy Hour. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced. There was LOTS of "silicone" at the Pink Taco for Happy Hour.
The appetizer sampler was great. Quesadillas, tamales, skewers of beef and chicken. Good stuff. Leave a Comment Theme: MexicanPrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: Hard Rock Hotel 4455 Paradise Rd.Directions: In the Hard Rock Hotel

The hip, trendy Pink Taco's original location is the one in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Vegas. The food is good, the drinks are big, and the atmosphere is casual/trendy. Lounge at the bar or get comfy in the large dining area. The waitresses are in hot pink and black attire, and make sure you have everything you may need for a great dining experience. =)
The chips are great and come with 3 kinds of salsa. For lunch I had the tortilla soup...a little watery compared to other tortilla soups, but good. Chicken enchiladas come with a choice of red or green sauce, and is huge...side of rice and beans. Pounded chicken is great! Lobster enchiladas are delicious! Salmon is good for you and very tasty! This place sounds a lot more fun than it is. Just kidding. Located in The Hard Rock, Pink Taco is an interesting Mexican eatery. Some people actually do eat in Vegas, to my surprise. My friend and I stayed in The Pink Taco for about 7 hours on a Friday afternoon. Eating? Nah... drinking! Let's recap the day. Beers, margaritas, Shane arm wrestles some old good-fella looking guy smoking a huge cigar, shots, beer, win $200 playing video black jack at the bar, shots all around, tip a handful of quarters, cut off. Hmm.. cut off in a Vegas bar? Yep. It's possible and not all that tough. Visit Pink Taco for some good Mexican food. Be sure to get a shirt: "Pink Taco, Where Eating Out Never Tasted So Good."

A slight Central American-Caribbean fusion makes this menu interesting. Sure, it has all the classics -- a great guacamole, enchilada, etc. -- but also such house specialties as Sabana de Pollo and a special marinated carne asada. These, coupled with an awesome tequila and beer selection, should scratch any south-of-the-border itch.
Definately the Carne Asada! Leave a Comment Theme: MexicanPrice: less than US$10 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: Hard Rock Hotel 4455 Paradise Rd.Phone: (702) 693-5000Directions: Inside the Hard Rock Cafe
