I wasn't expecting much at this buffet, but I still came away disappointed. The ambience was okay (two customers were actually fighting... fists and all over which one was in line first) so it wasn't dull! The food however, was quite bland and downright not good. They did have a lot of food out at the buffet, but they apparently feel better about quantity over quality. Lots to chose from, with an extensive dessert buffet as well.
I would not recommend this buffet to anyone, unless you have no where else to go!

My friend was going to see "We Will Rock You" at Paris and the Rio was too crowded. With the time remaining, I decided to try Bally's since I heard it was quite nice. The interior is nice, not overly spacious like MGM or Mirage, but it wasn't crowded either. The theme literally is a large kitchen (looks more like a cafeteria). Not really the sparse, action styled stations of other buffets in Vegas. However, they had a decent selection of food, not too much exotic stuff. The BBQ ribs were nice and the dessert was decent. But I already had Mirage and Paris the previous time, so this was a little bit of a letdown. However, I got a 10% discount with my Connection Card so that was a nice bonus.
Favorite Dish: BBQ ribs. Very tasty, not just cooked meat based with BBQ sauce

The Big Kitchen at Ballys has never failed to please. Great value, great service, great selection. Fresh orange juice, which is becoming a rarity in Las Vegas, good, real good coffee, and servers who pay attention. What more could you want?
Breakfast is the same everywhere, so no big deal, lunch (best value)...lots of fresh peel and eat shrimp, and wonderful bread pudding, dinner (good value, but suggest Rio)
Favorite Dish: Shrimp....fresh, fresh, fresh

Big appetites get a big welcome at The Big Kitchen Buffet (winner of numerous awards). The decor welcomes you into an over-sized kitchen, complete with oversized dishes. The menu changes daily, but one constant is their service, the staff treats you as a guest in their home.
Favorite Dish: Well everything of course, why should you ask...lol

Buffets in Vegas are often very expensive and excellent or mid-priced and forgettable. This is a decently priced, very high quality 'feed' if you are feeling the urge for an all you can eat...
Favorite Dish: I didn't have anything that was not tasty and FRESH!

A: West Rim is closer to Las Vegas, but is a huge tourist trap. It isn't actually located inside Grand Canyon National Park. It's a privately run casino / resort type place.
