This Austin, Texas-based chain first conquered Las Vegas with a location on the Paradise Road convention corridor, then added a gorgeous building in the fast-growing Peccole Ranch area in the far west end of town. Both locations offer signature dishes such as Voo Doo Tuna (blackened tuna with spicy soy mustard), Jamaica jerk chicken salad, and pork roast Vera Cruz. Both branches also have a Southwestern-style brunch on weekends. Other location: 9560 W. Sahara Ave., West Side, 702/638-0610.
Everything is so wonderful and the flavors they put together that just don't sound like they would mix very well are just a masterpiece. I can't wait to go there until I have tried everything on the menu. Leave a Comment

Z'Tejas is from my home town of Austin. The food is top quality. Not spicy, well not for me. Service varies at times. Go at lunch, less pricy. Sadly the smokers invade at cocktail time and there is not a real non-smoking area. The food makes this place, along with the friendly wait staff. The hostesses need an attitude adjustment, but if you ignore them you will have a great meal for little money.
Recommendations: Miso Salamon, Voodoo Tuna, and the hometown fav: Chicken Fried Ribeye (don't ask just eat). Get some chips and salsa, and don't let them forget the corn bread. Ummm just like granny made it. This is as close to Texas as you can get in Vegas. Get a Margarita while you are here. You will see why living in Texas is so good! Great atmosphere, and fabulous food. Not just enchiladas and tacos, but better! So grab a Mexican beer (we recommend Dos Equis and Tecate) and enjoy.

Mostly Mexican food- everything was great- service was awesome and they were very accomodating to our large party. I had the tuna appetizer and it was delicious. We visited the store on Ft. Apache and Sahara, but there are more locations and tey are closer to the strip. Leave a Comment Theme: MexicanPrice: US$31-40 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: W. Sahara and Ft.
