 | Las Vegas Shopping | Tips 1 - 10 of 212 | | If you could imagine dying and going to shopping heaven, then this is a place for you. At 2 million square feet, this mall is the goddess of all malls, as it has 6 department stores, and features over 200 stores. I would recommend this mall over the Forum Shops for the average shopper, as you can actually buy some stuff from most of these stores. This place is a day trip in itself, and is a one-stop shopping destination.

The Premium Outlet Mall is located not far from downtown Las Vegas, and has many higher-end outlet shops such as Coach, Nautica, Banana Republic, and Theory. The shopping is pretty good, and the discounts ranged from minimal to okay, but I didn't see any fantastic deals. For instance, at Calvin Klein, I saw a pair of shorts priced at $25.00 US that I purchased at Cosco here in Canada for $14.00 CDN. Also, a lot of stores were either very picked-over, like Banana Republic, or it was a mob scene, like at the Coach Store. I suppose it's the luck of the draw to score good deals, so it may be worth it to return to shop, if you can. Beware of the bathrooms, as they were some of the worst-kept public bathrooms I have ever seen in my life, which seemed odd for such a nice mall. There is a small food court for meals, and the mall is not enclosed, so you'll need your foul weather gear. I found the Desert Passage to be probably my favorite mall on the strip. It has hourly free entertainment, and is interesting to look at, as it is modeled after a middle-eastern street with the appropriate architecture. There is also a rainstorm in the central area. The ceiling is painted like the sky, and the sky changes in color during certain points of the day, like you were actually outside. Even during busy times, it never gets congested like the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace. Also, stores are open until midnight on Saturday night, wheeeee!
Everything from giftwear to clothing and beauty products.
It has a good mix of high-end such as Herve Leger and Hugo Boss as well as regular-folk stores, such as Gap and Eddie Bauer, plus Body Shop. Leave a Comment

The stores at the Forum Shops are extremely high end -- we're talking Dolce & Gabana, Versace, and Louis Vuitton. However, they did throw in some stores for us poor folk like Express, Gap and Abercrombie and Fitch. The mall is huge at more than 160 stores and 13 restaurants. The mall architecture is visually stunning, with numerous fountains, but I found that it seemed extremely congested, anytime of day or night. There is entertainment here as well, called "The Sinking of Atlantis" where a large fountain comes alive with automated figures. To tell you the truth, I couldn't figure out what was going on, as with the noise of the crowds plus the high ceilings, the soundtrack was just a very loud, muffled roar. The mall is visually stunning to look at, and unless you thrive on noise and confusion, go once for a looky and shop elsewhere. This mall is open until midnight on Saturdays.
Very high-end clothing and jewellery, if that's what you are looking for. There are also some very good restaurants such as Chinois, Spago and Cheesecake Factory. Leave a Comment

We always make a point of going to outlet malls when we go to the States the prices are at least half the price we would pay here in the UK. We were not disappointed. Over 100 stores here including Tommy Hilfiger, Timberland, Adidad, Calvin Klein, shops selling gifts, household goods also.
I bought some lovely leather, walking kind of shoes. My husband bought 3 (yes 3 isnt he greedy) Tommy Hilfiger sweaters.
My shoes were $40 and my husbands sweaters were about $30 each great value. This is a huge mall attached to Caesar's Palace and one of my favorite places to shop in Vegas. There is a good mix of upscale designer shops and restaurants with less pricey ones, making the shopping much more accessible for the average person than in most Vegas malls. The Forum also features a beautiful tropical fish tank and a rather odd (we thought) show employing mechanized puppets to act out a battle among the Greek Gods.
Here you can actually buy anything you want from Prada luggage to souvenir keychains. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherAddress: 3500 Las Vegas Blvd. SouthDirections: Adjacent to Caesar's Palace Hotel and CasinoWebsite: http://www.shopsimon.com

A girl just needs a good pair of FMP's in her closet, even in Alaska. Of course, we can't wear them outside of the cabin, since the heels will get caught in the snow grates, and rip right off, and the men up here just laugh at damsels in distress. But we can put them on at home and dream, can't we??

On the strip, next door to MnM World and the MGM Grand, you will notice a shop with a huge glass Coke bottle on it...
Inside this shop is a ticket counter which has show tickets 50% off! The shows offered are for THAT DAY ONLY. For example if you wake up on the morning of Friday, July 30th and go there, they will have tickets for the eve of July 30th ONLY! Selection will be limited during peak season, as they are the left over, unsold tickets.
Depends upon the show, but say you wanted to see Blue Man Group. Tix normally run around $90 each. You can get them for $45 assuming there is still seating the morning of the show! Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: Next door to MnM World/MGM Grand- South Strip

These shops are a little more reasonable, and include places such as the makeup chain Sephora, Ann Taylor Loft and BeBe. Its probably geared more toward women than men, but what mall isnt? Desert Passage also has 2 all you can eat buffets. The decor is fabulous. There is an indoor thunderstorm which takes places every so often which is interesting to watch.
Even if you don't have $$ to spend, you can stop by Sephora and try on all the makeup.
Less than the Forum, Via Bellagio or the Grand Canal Shops. The Desert Passage doesn't have the high end Prada and Gucci shops, so the prices are a bit more reasonable. The Wynn Esplanade opens early (10 AM) and closes late (either 11 PM or Midnight). Over 32 unique and special shops are contained within the Wynn resort including the world's only casino-resort housed Ferrari & Maserati car dealership. The cost is $10 to enter the dealership and photos are not permitted. In addition, there is a dedicated Rolex store that sells only Rolex and there is Cartier, Manolo Blahnik, Oscar de la Renta, Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, San Giorgio, and several Wynn-logo exclusive stores.
Anything with a Wynn logo is nice but something personalized from Las Vegas or a nice reminder of your trip to Las Vegas is always appropriate and appreciated.
