It has hourly free entertainment, and is interesting to look at, as it is modeled after a middle-eastern street with the appropriate architecture. There is also a rainstorm in the central area. The ceiling is painted like the sky, and the sky changes in color during certain points of the day, like you were actually outside. Even during busy times, it never gets congested like the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace. Also, stores are open until midnight on Saturday night, wheeeee!
Everything from giftwear to clothing and beauty products.
It has a good mix of high-end such as Herve Leger and Hugo Boss as well as regular-folk stores, such as Gap and Eddie Bauer, plus Body Shop. Leave a Comment

These shops are a little more reasonable, and include places such as the makeup chain Sephora, Ann Taylor Loft and BeBe. Its probably geared more toward women than men, but what mall isnt? Desert Passage also has 2 all you can eat buffets. The decor is fabulous. There is an indoor thunderstorm which takes places every so often which is interesting to watch.
Even if you don't have $$ to spend, you can stop by Sephora and try on all the makeup.
Less than the Forum, Via Bellagio or the Grand Canal Shops. The Desert Passage doesn't have the high end Prada and Gucci shops, so the prices are a bit more reasonable. Leave a Comment

If you are looking for Hawaiian items like Hawaiian t-shirts, Hawaiian jewelries (kuuipos), leis, puka shells, just go to Aladdin Hotel shops and you will find this specialty store. There is a huge Hawaiian t-shirt at the front of the store and it says" The biggest t-shirt in the world!"
You can buy a lot of gifts in there from clothings to gift items. You can also buy slippers there when you are tired walking on the streets in Las Vegas. This is the place to go and shop when you are saving some money! The slippers are about $6!
Expect to spend about $10 only.

Of the shopping venues in Las Vegas that I have visited I prefer Desert Passage at Aladdin. It has a nice atmosphere and the shops are less ridiculously upscale than other casino malls. The "conceit" that you are in North Africa works nicely -- although the "thunderstorm" that occurs hourly isn't worth the wait.
Well there are always souvenirs... DP has a branch of Sur La Table that I always enjoy visiting. Leave a Comment

Desert Passage – the shopping arcade at the Aladdin – is modelled on an Arabian Market theme with areas including India Gate, Morocco Gate and Merchants Harbour (where, every so often, a ‘thunderstorm’ complete with lightning and rain stops proceedings!) The variety of shops include fashion, footwear, home, jewellery and some speciality stores such as Tahiti Village, Houdini’s Magic Shop (I had to drag my husband out of there!) and Christmas Corner, a strange shop to browse in on a sweltering hot May day but we did! If you get lost or aren’t sure what you are looking for then members of staff, on very nifty looking two-wheel scooters things, will be able to advise you.

Hilo Hattie will make you think Hawai'i. The store is full of clothes, gifts and fine jewelry with a Hawaiian theme. The jeweltry kiosk is run by the premier Island jeweler, Maui Divers. They opened their first store on Kauai in 1963. . Outside is what is reputed to be the largest Hawaiian shirt in the world. It is "sized" 400 XL !!! Leave a Comment

Shops set up as an indoor mall inside the Aladdin. You can find most of your typical mall-type stores there. For a list of shops, see the web site link below. Leave a Comment

The Aladdin Desert Passage at the previously Aladdin Casino (now Planet Hollywood casino) is a large indoor street lined with shops. The theme is/used to be a exotic market, but they might change this as the Casino has new owners. There were a lot of speciality shops that I've never seen before, so if you're tired of the same old you might enjoy this shopping mall. My favorites were definitely Sephora (the only Sephora outlet in Las Vegas), in addition to Urban Outfitters!
