Desert Passage Mall ~ Aladdin: Arab Bazaar in Vegas!

Oyster Bar in Desert Passage

Themed after an ancient Arab Bazaar from 1001 Arabian Nights, the Desert Passage Mall at Aladdin features over a dozen restaurants including La Salsa Cantina Mexican Resturant, Todai Sushi Bar and Cheeseburger at the Oasis burger joint.

Over 130 shops grace this shoppers paradise, with every imaginable ware available from clothing, to collectables! A full listing of all shops and a mall map are available on their website.

The architecture in the Passage is beautiful, and features fountains and an indoor oasis pond! Well worth the trip, and a great photo opportunity. Very authentically replicated.

What to buy: Anything you could possibly imagine, there are over 130 shops!

What to pay: Charge it! You could spend your entire year's salary here if you wanted to!

If you visit the website, there are printable percentages off coupons available for the shops and the restaurants!

Desert Passage: Shop 'til you drop!

Of the shopping venues in Las Vegas that I have visited I prefer Desert Passage at Aladdin. It has a nice atmosphere and the shops are less ridiculously upscale than other casino malls. The "conceit" that you are in North Africa works nicely -- although the "thunderstorm" that occurs hourly isn't worth the wait.

What to buy: Well there are always souvenirs...
DP has a branch of Sur La Table that I always enjoy visiting.

Located in the Aladdin Hotel and Casino, the Desert Passage shops feature many unique shops as well as upscale shops found in local malls. While walking through the shops, the Desert Passage has created a show of a desert rainstorm which is very cool to see.

Lots of name brand stores here but little upscale shopping. You'll find the GAP, Bath and Body Works, Ann Taylor, Victorias Secret. There is a rainstorm once an hour but it's fairly umimpressive.

Shops set up as an indoor mall inside the Aladdin. You can find most of your typical mall-type stores there.

For a list of shops, see the web site link below.

A: West Rim is closer to Las Vegas, but is a huge tourist trap. It isn't actually located inside Grand Canyon National Park. It's a privately run casino / resort type place.
