I like to bring home souvenirs of my Las Vegas stay to friends and co-workers, and hotel gift shops are the best place to shop for things that reflect your experience.
What I buy, almost in bulk (I have a large family) are decks of cards and dice, with the names of the casinos on them. I love window shopping (but not buying) in the beautiful, unique indoor shopping malls in places like Caesar's Palace and Venetian.
Depending on how upscale the hotel is, the cards cost anywhere from 99c to about $2.50 a deck (same for the big dice), which represents a small amoung of $$ for a nice, representative guest. (I buy several at a time from the $.99 places. Leave a Comment Theme: Gifts

Grand Canal Shops by goingsolo Most of the large hotels have a shopping area. I guess its their way of making sure that those people who don't leave their money behind at the casinos have somewhere to spend it. But seriously, the shops are worth checking out, even if they are overpriced and all you do is window shop. The Venetian Hotel's Grand Canal shopping area is especially pretty, with the canal and gondolas in the center and the Italian architecture. There are a mixture of high end and not as high end shops here. Burberry and Ann Taylor are represented, but there's also a Sephora and Banana Republic.
Nothing really. This is a place to come and take a look. The shops are very pricey and not the place to be buying stuff. Even the more reasonable name stores such as Banana Republic have higher prices. There's another mall on the Strip whose prices are more reasonable. Unless you win big at the casino, stick to window shopping here.
Way too much. See above Leave a Comment Theme: OtherAddress: 3355 Las Vegas Blvd. SouthPhone: 702 414 4500Website: www.venetian.com

Venetian Canal Shops by BreezyJones Lifestyle: The Shopaholic Those who think they've seen all shopping has to offer haven't been to Vegas lately. Here you can shop along a canal, in Paris and even among the Roman gods. Q: Shopping is my main agenda. Where should I stay to be closest to all the shops? A: For your convenience, many of the shops just happen to have hotel-casinos attached. You might try Caesars Palace which is attached to the Forum Shops, the Aladdin, which is attached to Desert Passage, or the Venetian, Paris and Bellagio. And Treasure Island is right across the street from that mall you gals find so wonderful, the Fashion Show. Q: Help! Where do I start? A: I hear the best plan of attack is to pick an end of the Strip to start from and make your way down. In this case, the girls recommended you start with Fashion Show mall. Its addition is brand new and it looks like a million bucks. From the Fashion Show, stop at the Venetian for the Grand Canal Shoppes and Caesars for the Forum Shops. If you still have any energy after that, stop at Via Bellagio (don't miss the other shops scattered throughout the casino), Le Boulevard at Paris and Desert Passage at the Aladdin. Q: Where can I see celebrities/people watch while I shop? A: If there's one place people consistently say is good for people -- and celebrity -- watching, it's at the Forum Shops. You're also likely to bump into the rich and/or famous at Via Bellagio, Grand Canal Shoppes or Fashion Show mall. Q: I'm here on a budget. Where can I find the best bargains? A: You'll find bargains galore at Las Vegas Outlet Center. Outlets include the Off 5th Saks 5th Avenue, Nine West, Pfaltzgraff and hundreds more. If you're up for a trip out to Primm (shuttles leave daily from the MGM Grand and New York-New York), you'll find unbelievable deals at the Fashion Outlets. I believe my lady friends call them "steals." Leave a Comment Theme: Other

I am not one for swank shops but this chocolate store at The Bellagio Hotel was something out of a Salvatore Dali painting. The products were a bit out of our price range but gawking at the displays certainly was not and as it turns out, the incredible chocolate fountain at The Jean-Philippe Patisserie is Guinness acknowledged as the largest in the world. The chef after which the shop is named is evidently highly lauded for his creations. Like he says, “you dream it, we'll make it” Sounds like the Vegas city slogan to me. Via Bellagio shops inside the Bellagio hotel by goingsolo Another set of shops in the if-you-have-to-ask-you-can't-afford-it category. But most people stroll through this area, either to get to Olives restaurant, or simply to get back onto the Strip without having to walk the length of the Bellagio in the Vegas heat. But if you're a regular at Tiffany, Gucci or Hermes, you may want to pick up a little something while here.
Some diamonds at Tiffany, a purse at Gucci and a dress at Chanel.
More than you'll ever win at video poker. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherAddress: Hotel BellagioDirections: Bellagio Hotel.Website: www.bellagio.com

by Yaqui Every time we venture into the Venetian shopping canal we like to roam into here. They have a whole variety of items to purchase as souviners or gifts. One of my favorites places. by shrimp56 Which is probably just as well. Although I am glad they skipped the pigeons:) The "ambience of Venice is actually very pleasant -- unfortunately the shops are rather too high-end for my tastes. Interesting restaurants though. One thing is authentic -- the layout is as confusing as Venice's streets. Leave a Comment

If you collect masks, then go to the shop at the Cirque du Soleil at Bellagio Hotel. There are many masks there.
Masks, mugs, t-shirts, sweatshirts and other souvenir items.
Depending on what you buy. Theme: OtherAddress: Bellagio HotelDirections: It is located at the middle of the strip

by Krumlovgirl The shops at the Bellagio are basically what you would expect from a hotel trying to attract wealthy clientele. You have your Gucci and Prada and everything else. You know, the kind of stores that don't post their prices on their merchandise because they think that if you need to know the price then you can't afford it anyway. Mom and I like to go in them and touch everything. Drives the sales people insane.
If you win big (or if you're just really wealthy) then I would go for a Prada purse. Actually, I own a couple of Prada purses. They're great bags. I just bought mine in Chinatown in New York City for about 2% of the real price.
Expect to pay anywhere in the thousands of dollars for something that is the size of a peanut. Just kidding! It is very expensive, though. But if you can afford it, go for it! Leave a Comment Theme: Women's ClothesDirections: Bellagio shops

We have the most unique shopping malls in this city. Where else can you find themed shopping areas where it rains indoors every hour on the hour......that would be Desert Passage at the Aladin. Or where ceiling looks like a changing sky and the statues come to life?? ......The Forum Shops at Ceasars Palace. These make for great diversions when you get tired of feeding the slot machines. At least the $$$ you spend shopping guarantee you'll have something to take home to show the folks you left behind.
true Vegas 'kistch' -- you know you have a wall just aching to be home for the Elvis swivel hips clock, or the ever popular dice clock. If this is what you want to take home check out the world's largest souviner shop on the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and Sahara Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: North End of LV Blvd just before you get to the Stratosphere
