almost all shops in Las Vegas are on sale during June. and it is during this time that the discounts are great and not the measly 5-10% discounts
even the outlets are on sale.
Nine West & Coach
Bath & Body
Generally, I love every product that they make. It's the one shop that I just have to visit everytime I go to the USA. they hold their semi-annual sale around 2nd or 3rd week of June. Everything is on sale. Lots of products are even on a buy 1 take 1 promo.
What to buy: Bath & Body items- lotions and creams
Nine West - leather shoes

If you want to do some budget shopping, or you just can't be bothered to wash any clothes, try the Belz Factory Outlet. This is a massive mall with all sorts of shops and you can get decent shirts, jeans etc, at good prices. You can get there by bus although you do have to change half way. A taxi to or from the Strip will cost about $25/30.

This mall is terrific!
Besides the elegant shops with best brands, there is also a food court on the first floor.
We especially liked the kitchen accessories shop "Williams- Sonoma". Tools, cookware, electrics, furnishings, flatware, books...They also sell original cute little kitchen gadgets.
Among other items we bought a CD with American "BBQ music".
And it worked out well here in Belgium! Success guaranteed! :-)

If you are looking for stores such as Target, Best Buy, etc Big Box stores such as this,as I often do when visiting somewhere. Visit Henderson-a short trip from the strip and they have all of these types of stores.

We always make a point of going to outlet malls when we go to the States the prices are at least half the price we would pay here in the UK. We were not disappointed.
Over 100 stores here including Tommy Hilfiger, Timberland, Adidad, Calvin Klein, shops selling gifts, household goods also.
What to buy: I bought some lovely leather, walking kind of shoes. My husband bought 3 (yes 3 isnt he greedy) Tommy Hilfiger sweaters.
What to pay: My shoes were $40 and my husbands sweaters were about $30 each great value.

The Fashion Mall is a great place for a shop. It has some of the big department stores - Saks, Macy's, Bloomingdales,...... plus a number of smaller shops including Coach (great for bags), foot locker, body shop, art shops, jewelry and many other shops you would expect to find in a mall.
It is best to catch a taxi to the Fashion Mall, and if you need to catch one back to the strip try Macys or Bloomingdales (plus Saks i think).
What to pay: prices vary considerably

It's about 45mins drive from the strip. A bit far....I prefer the Las Vegas Premium Outlet.
Primm Outlet is known as the Fashion Outlet.
It's definitely cheaper to shop in these outlets. Shopping at the hotels are very pricey. Including Fashion Mall, but sometimes they have good sales.
Check all the local mall information here:

What to pay: $50 plus

The las Vegas Premium Outlets provides over 120 stores only a few minutes form the "strip." Think Armani, Coach, Kenneth Cole for just a few.
While I'm not an "outlet" suporter per se, they can provide some good deals on items if you know what you are looking for and you know what the prices should be.
Catch a sale at the outlets and you can really save some $$$
What to buy: ...ah....Most anything you want that is legal in Nevada....

This is for the serious shopper who doesn't mind spending the money. Department stores include Bloomingdales and Nieman Marcus.
What to buy: This is not so much a specialty shop mall, but rather a mall where the shops are those of famous designers and upscale department stores.
What to pay: Depending on where you shop and what you're looking for, shopping here can get pretty pricey!!
