Malls / Outlets: Beltz factory outlet shopping

by Jordie Written Aug 3, 2003

    2 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

We found that at Beltz most of the shops had excellent prices and a good amount of stock. We had a great day of shopping in all the stores and went back to our hotel happy with what we had purchesed and paid.

Bonanza: Largest Souvineer Store in the World?

by truesunn Written Jul 27, 2003

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Anything you can think of under the sun, from shot glasses, to ashtrays to teeshirts can be found at Bonanza. They are generally a dollar or two cheaper than shops closer to the central strip!

What to buy: Something cheesy for your friends back home!

    What to pay: Charge It!

Fashion Show, Meadows, Boulevard, and Sunset: Malls in Vegas

by krizt Written Jun 18, 2003

I think it's the Sunset- it's on Sunset.
Anyway- great malls in Vegas! The Sunset is the newest one- it's out in Henderson but easy to get to. Take the Strip south to Sunset- Turn Left (EAST) and follow until the street comes to a T. Turn Right and it's about a mile down the road (you're still on Sunset) on the left. If you get sick of shopping- Sunset Station is right across the street- great buffet there and Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream shop.

The Boulevard Mall is on Maryland Parkway- also easy to get to. From the Strip, Take Tropicana Blvd. East (The Tropicana Hotel is on the corner of Tropicana Blvd.) You'll pass the Thomas and Mack Center @UNLV and the next Street is Maryland Parkway. Turn back North and the mall is just ahead on your right!

The Fashion Show Mall is on the Strip- you can't miss it- it's a neat mall but it's more expensive than any other mall in Vegas! Great for window shopping.

Belz Factory Outlet World - Located 2 miles south on the left side of Las Vegas Boulevard from Mandalay Bay Hotel/Casino.

Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace - the best collection of affordable mainstream shopping on the strip.

Boulevard Mall: where the locals shop

by raevnzno Written May 25, 2003

The closest 'local's' mall is located about 2 miles east of Las Vegas Blvd on Maryland Pkwy. If you need Penney's, Sears, a bookstore, or any other of the shops you are familier with from your mall back home. If you need the closest Target, that would be at Flamingo and Maryland Pkwy. Wal-mart is a little farther, Tropicana and Eastern. Just east of Eastern actually. Just grab a cab, or ask a local for directions if you have a rental car.
