Show Tickets, Las Vegas
If you don't necessarily have your heart set on seeing one particular show while you're in Vegas, then stopping by Tix4Tonight might help you save a few bucks. There are six Tix4Tonight locations in Las Vegas, and they open at 10:00 am. All the shows available for that day are displayed on big screen TVs, along with prices. The most popular shows (like the Cirque du Soleil's "O") are usually sold out, but I was surprised at the quantity and variety of shows for which last-minute tickets were still available. For some of them you only save a few bucks, but for others you can get a pretty interesting discount!
We decided to buy tickets to the Cirque du Soleil's "KA" at Tix4Tonight and although we couldn't pick our exact seats, we could choose the category from 1 to 4 (Category 1 seats being the best and most expensive seats). They gave us a voucher which we then exchanged at the KA ticket office, and we got to pick the seats we wanted according to our category. We ended up sitting in the middle of the theatre so we had a really nice view of the stage and were still close enough to see all the details. If I ever go back to Las Vegas I'd probably stop by Tix4Tonight again, we had an amazing night and didn't have to pay too much for it!
What to buy: You can't go wrong with a show by the Cirque du Soleil!
What to pay: You usually get a 20% to 50% discount on the regular price
On the strip there's a place called "Tickets 2 Nite" where they sell cheap tickets for the current day show. It's located right beneath the big Coca Cola bottle.
I checked out the place and didn't find it useful. First of all, none of the popular shows such as Circus de Soleil, Blue Man Group, etc. can be found here. Most of the tickets they sell here, you can probably buy just by walking up to the theater counter. Second, they may sell tickets at a discount but they also charge a service fee (about $4).
