Las Vegas' McCarran Airport must be one of only a few airports in the world that has a large array of slot machines.
Both in Arrivals and in the departure lounges, there are slot machines so that you can start, or finish, your gambling in the airport.
Remember folks, it's important to know when to stop BEFORE you start - you can seek help here.
Yes, there is gambling at the Mc Carran airport! From the baggage claim all the way to the gates and pretty much everywhere in between, you'll find banks and rows of slot machines and video poker -- mostly quarter and $1 machines, but there are a few of other denominations as well. There are no table games, however, so if you have to bet 17 on roulette or try spanish 21, you'll have to wait until you get to the hotel.
I don't like rushing going to security at the airport, so I usually go there early! This time, my sister's and I were able to check out the McCarran International Airport...There are so many things to see there especially the murals on the wall...
I arrived very early at the Airport - three hours before my flight. Well, it is good though. At least you can check in as early as 3 hours prior.
Mind you. Las Vegas will not let you leave the country without making contribution to the last quarter (coins) that you have. You will find slot machines in the departure area of the airport.
So, if you are not done with the gambling at the Casino Strip, then you may continue doing it at the departure area of the McCarran International Airport - Las Vegas.
Otherwise, arrive approximately two hours prior to your scheduled departure to allow plenty of time for security procedures.
If your hotel offers check in at McCarran Airport, DO IT! We checked in at the airport and there was only 4 people ahead of us. When we got to the hotel, the line was crazy long!! It really does pay to check in at the airport if at all possible! I know for a fact that the Caesars Properties offer it. But I have read that another property/properites offer it as well.
