This hotel seemed to have it all. A fabulous exterior with Lake Como and the fountains out front, the best view of the Eiffel Tower across the street, and a beautiful lobby with these unique and colourful stained glass flowers suspended from the ceiling and illuminated from above. This display was designed by the famous glass artist, Dale Chihuly.

Beyond the lobby you will enter the Bellagio Conservatory. Under a huge glass dome you can admire a beautiful garden of seasonal flowers. A visit to the conservatory is free and if you like flowers as I do, it is a must see!

This is free, as we strolled the hall from around the corner of the garden, we discovered this wonderful delicious find. "Chocolate" but a fountain of Chocolate! It was like a work of art. At first I thought it was colored water, but then realized it was a chocolate shop. So many people didn't even notice the fountain. It looked so unreal.

6 pumps circulate 2 tons of chocolate
500 feet of stainless steel piping
    circulates 120 degrees F
climated controlled at 95 degrees F
Rised vertical 27 feet from the lower level pump room
6 ceiling spouts disperse 14 feet above the floor
Cascades into 25 hand crafted artistic glass vessels
2 years of engineering planning and developing

Jean Philippe Maury is a world champion pastry chef.

This gorgeous hotel had everything you could possible ever want. It is the most beautiful and luxiourios of all the Vegas Hotels, in my opinion.
I loved the fountain show made famous by the end of movie Ocean's 11, the magnificent glass flowers on the ceiling in the lobby that were done by Chihuly, the museum which happened to be showing Alexander Calder when we were there, and I loved the breakfast buffet, I really loved the breakfast buffet....;)

...continue down the Strip to The Bellagio. On the way, admire The Flamingo, one of the great old-school Vegas casinos...

The Bellagio is usually considered to be the most luxurious of the casinos in Las Vegas. It has a lot of opulent details that you won't find elsewhere in the city. The sights begin before you even enter the casino. Outside, check out the spectacular dancing fountain (the "Fountains of Bellagio"). Watch as the water literally "dances" to the strains of opera and classical music. This is especially beautiful at night, when colored lights add to the spectacle.

Inside the casino, there are a number of things to see. Start with the lobby. On the ceiling of the lobby you'll find an unusual piece of art: a display of 2,000 hand-blown glass flowers. It's called the Fiori di Como. Chihuly. The artist, Dale Chihuly, has a gallery in the casino if you'd like to puchase some of his other pieces.

Past the lobby you'll find the Botanical Gardens. It's a small but beautiful indoor garden featuring well-tended roses, tropical plants and a small steam under a glass ceiling. This is a great place to take a photo or two.

The Bellagio also has a small musuem ("The Gallery of Fine Art") featuring the works of Rembrandt and Reubens, among others. There are also visiting displays that circulate through this gallery. General admission is $15.

The pool area is lovely at The Bellagio. It has a romantic, Tuscan feeling, complete with stone fountains and potted cyprus.

The gaming floor here is elegant but not particularly distinctive. When you're finished admiring all the sights at The Bellagio, head back out to the Strip to continue on your tour!

If you take the time to see the garden, make sure you see the 2,000 dynamic hand-blown glass flowers peering from high above in the main lobby. This beautiful creative sculpture is commissioned by world-renowned artist, Dale Chihuly. It is so gorgeous to see in person. It speak of volumes of luxury and know what your in for when you stay here.

The Bellagio is a legend in Las Vegas and considered one of the best hotels in Las Vegas and in the USA. So, no trip to Las Vegas would be complete without a visit to this stunning hotel.

Its lobby is like a garden in spring time. Full of flowers, colourful and inviting. At night there are the famous Bellagio fountains which move with classical or opera music. giving beautiful shows of light and music at scheduled times.

Even if you aren't staying at the hotel, you shouldn't miss a visit to this amazing and lively hotel in Las Vegas.

I know no one comes to Vegas for the art, but there is an amazing amount here. I guess the hotels/casinos figure they will use all means to attract folks (and their money) so go to great lengths to do so. The Bellagio hotel was built by Steve Wynn who also built the Venetian and the Wynn. He commissioned Dale Chihuly, the famous Seattle glass blower/artist, to do the ceiling of the hotel lobby. It is an amazing collection of his trademark colorful and large glass flowers which make for an eye-catching, dazzling display above you as you enter the lobby. Also in the conservatory of the hotel are some large (10 ft tall and 6 ft wide) flowers on stems that capture your attention as soon as you enter it. I know the work in the lobby is permanent but am not sure about the conservatory flowers. Both are worth visiting and it doesn’t cost anything to walk through.

The brochure of the Bellagio, Steve Wynn’s recreation of an Italian villa by Lake Como, describes the hotel as “Where beauty meets luxury”. Now, as we weren’t staying there, I can’t comment on the rooms/private areas but the public spaces were certainly lived up to that description!
Created by the American artist Dale Chihuly the ceiling of the lobby is decorated with 2000 hand-blown glass flowers in a mixture of vibrant shades – the Fiore di Como. They look so delicate, like multicoloured brandy-snap baskets, and the light shines through them with a wonderful translucent effect.
Apparently each of the 2000 flowers are different, so why not sit down on one of the velvet sofas, look upwards and start counting. 2000, 1999, 1998 etc..

I didn't get to visit Bellagio until my 4th time in Vegas but I have to say that it's the classiest thing in Vegas. It deserves to be visited on a first trip to Vegas. The fountain shows (free every night at regular intervals) are beautiful and once I've seen one show I wanted more; and since they change the music, the movements of the fountains and the light effects from show to show it's hard to get bored. I think I've seen three or four different ones. Bellagio's interior is also very beautiful; the main lobby ceiling is made of glass flowers of many colors; the nearby conservatory is definitely worth a stop. There's also a Gallery of Fine Art with fine paintings by Manet, Picasso and others.

The Belaggio is one of the most expensive hotels in Vegas. It is most known for the fountains in front of the main building. It also has a nice conservatory with flowers and a replica of the Liberty Bell with an Eagle perched on top of it.
