In fact, we stood there for probably over an hour, just to watch the show over and over again. If you've never heard of the fountains, 1200 moving spouts of water are choreographed to music. The shows are every 15 minutes until about midnight, and last maybe 2-3 minutes depending on what song they are using. They are really quite something to see, but I suggest if you don't have much time, to go at night, as they are at their most beautiful, with colored lights. Probably the best view is, of course, in front of the Bellagio, but more to the sides, as you can get in the whole show without turning your head from side to side. Also, a tip: You can view them from your own private little balcony. Go up inside the enclosed escalators/staircase to the Bellagio shops, north of the fountains, and there is a little balcony overlooking the fountains out two double french doors. My husband and I stood there for quite some time without any hassle and had a wonderful view of the fountains. Leave a Comment

Yes, this does get old after you've seen it a few times, but the Bellagio fountain show is quite a sight to the first time tourist. Set to music, the fountain show takes place every 15 minutes or every half an hour, I can't remember which. Hundreds of fountains dance to the music, some soaring as high as 240 feet (73 meters). Actually, see it twice- once during the day and once when the fountains are lit up at night. Leave a Comment

"But they are just fountains," you might say. Well, I am here to tell you that these are the most spectacular fountains that the Southwest desert has ever seen. Thousands of jets of water are syncronized by computer with pieces of classical music to create a show so stunning it can bring a tear to your eye. At night the show happens every few minutes, so if you miss one, stick around for a bit and you will see it again. Viewing areas can get quite crowded, so I recommend the view from the footbridge which connects the Bellagio to the strip. Oh and the best thing? The show is free! Leave a Comment

This was a great show, and free of charge! Grab a spot along the stone railing that encloses the man made 8 acre replica of Lake Como in front of the Bellagio resort. You won't have to wait long before the next performance begins since they repeat every 15-30 minutes. When the music begins you will see the water begin to bubble and churn as the fountains ready for another perfectly choreographed aquatic ballet. It is very impressive and entertaining to watch the fountains sway and undulate and propel the water over a hundred feet into the air. The shows begin at 3pm Monday to Friday and noon on Sat and Sunday. The last show is at midnight. Leave a Comment

The Fountains of Bellagio attraction consists of an intricate water fountain display set to light and music. The display takes place in front of the Bellagio hotel and can be viewed from the Strip. The fountain show takes place every 30 minutes in the afternoons and early evenings, and every 15 minutes from 8 pm to midnight. Exceptions: a single or string of shows may be withheld when winds prevail; a single show may be skipped to avoid interference with a planned event. The Fountains were created by WET Design, who specializes in creating intricate water shows. The design incorporates an array of underwater pipes with over 1,000 nozzles that makes it possible to stage fountain displays coordinated with over 4,000 lights and music. [1] Three types of nozzles are used for the various effects: * Oarsmans - Swing back and forth to create dancing water * Shooters - Shoots water upwards * Super Shooters - Sends a water blast as high as 250 ft (76 m) in the air. Experience the most ambitious, commanding water feature ever conceived! Bellagio's world-famous fountains will speak to your heart with opera, classical and whimsical music while flirting with your playful nature through their carefully choreographed movements. You'll be swept away by this breathtaking union of water, music and light. Show times: Monday - Friday 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. show every 1/2 hour 8:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. show every 15 minutes Saturday & Sunday 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. show every 1/2 hour 8:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. show every 15 minutes

The Fountains in front of the Bellagio are a spectacular combination of water, light and music. During the night they perform (until midnight, I believe) every 15 minutes, with songs/pieces that lasts about 3-4 minutes. Leave a Comment

The fountain show funs every 30 minutes or so during the day and more often peak times, it is amazing and there are lots of places you can view it from. If it's windy then it gets posponed for another 30 minutes - this happened when I was there in August for a few hours - did get a bit annoying - however there are plenty of other things to do nearby! By the way - I have another Bellagio page - the real thing in Italy - it's another amazing place but for totally different reasons - please have a look! Leave a Comment

I really enjoy watching the fountains of Bellagio. Make sure you get there a little early so you can be positioned well enough to watch it. It gets a little crowded at night. It’s choreographed with different music every time. Make sure to watch it at night. It looks absolutely spectacular during that time and better yet, its free. Hours of operation: Monday - Friday, 3 p.m. - midnight. Saturday and Sunday, noon - midnight. The fountains run every half-hour until 8 p.m. and every 15 minutes after that until midnight. Fountains are occasionally closed during high winds. There is nothing like watching a free show at the Belagio's water fountain. It is best to go there in the afternoon since it is very hot in Las Vegas. The spray of the fountain cools you off! Anyway, stand-by at the railings in front of the Belagio's fountain. It is a whole block of water. The display of the water fountain is every hour. One of my favourite things about Las Vegas was the fountains at the Bellagio. At the front of the hotel is an artificial lake and here you can see regular 'dancing fountain' displays, choreographed to music. The displays officially run every 30 minutes, between 12pm and 8pm, and then every 15 minutes until 12am, though they did run more often over the weekend we were there. The individual shows last a few minutes, basically as long as the song they are dancing too. The songs change throughout the day and range from classical to recent hits. If you are watching the fountains from the Strip, the music is blasted out of numerous speakers situated around the Bellagio's perimeter. If you are lucky enough to be staying at the hotel, as we were, and have a room looking over the lake, tune into Channel 22 on the TV and you will hear the fountain music. Leave a Comment
