Crazy Girls, Las Vegas

this was a very poor burlesque show. The girls lip synched to bad songs. They looked OK but nothing special in Vegas terms. Actually nothing special at all. At the beach I see better looking women. A few years ago there was a cable special on Crazy Girls, it was much better than the live show.

The magician/comedian was bad. However he did do the same razor blade trick as Amazing Jonathon. That was impressive but also means the trick isn't very hard.

If you want to see skin go to a strip club. It will be much more interesting. If you insist on seeing a show, go to Bite at the Stratosphere.

This is a well-known adult video shop in Las Vegas. It's famous in the industry for its annual Legends of Erotica show, which I was lucky enough to attend. Here, veteran porn stars are inducted into the Hall of Fame. They then make impressions, into wet concrete, of their hands, and often other body parts. Once dried, these are displayed on the wall. Seriously, I'm not making this up. Nearly all of the best-known porn stars have done this.

This is all to raise money for a worthy cause, known as Protecting Adult Welfare (PAW). It's a professional association to represent the interests of models, photographers, writers, directors, technicians, and all others in the adult film industry.

Riviera is one of the oldest casinos on the Strip. Its "Crazy Girls" show is one of the oldest shows in Las Vegas. When you see the relief of the Crazy Girls at the front entrance of Reviera, you know this is an adult-rated town. I didn't go see the show though; there are much better shows around town these days.
