Before leaving on our trip, I did some on line checking of shows.. and I decided since I was taking my 12yr old, we went to the Blue Man show which was very entertaining and interactive.
this hotel is just great i love the shape of it and the stuff inside - just amazing
2 bad they wont let any1 without a room key to use the elevator there
I almost got busted taking this picture because i had to climb a roof and the security didn't exaclty authorize me doing so; i did it any way.
The Luxor Hotel and Casino is your gateway to an Egyptian experience. The theme of this hotel is ancient Egypt. Luxor is reachable by the tram from Excalibur and Mandalay Bay.
As far as I know, you can't go for a camel ride here yet. But you can fill your belly at the scrumptious buffet and promptly lose it all after a ride on the 3-D motion simulator.
This is just cool. I mean, c'mon. Even if you're not into cheesy things, you have to love the Sphinx surrounded by greenery.
Check out the Luxor...definitely go into the lobby! The next couple of photos will show you why (I hope!). The outside is excellent, but the inside is much more atmospheric!
Because the hotels earn their money from gambling the hotel rooms in Vegas tend to be reasonably priced. We had a Jacuzzi suite at the Luxor. It is a good opportunity to stay in a suite.
You have to see the Luxor hotel - take a look at the photo and i'm sure you'll agree.

Ever been in a giant pyramid? Pretty cool. There's an imax theater & shops to buy Egyptian trinkets.
See the egyptian themed Luxor hotel
It is built like a pyramid and especially the inside is fascinating.
Tour some of the micest casinos.
This is theLuxor, obviously the interior is all in pseudo-egyptian style.
This one really impressed me. Once inside you'll noticed the configuration of the rooms. The elevators run diagonally to the top.
My favourite casino is the Pyramid Casino. Inside and Outside looks beautiful and you can see a little museum inside, not just shops.
