L'arc de Triomphe at Night by emilienoelle Oh, the Paris. This was a cool place to be sure and the closest thing I've seen to an adult version of a Disney Theme Park. The casino has a funky 19th Century Moulin Rouge-type flair to it and all of the employees speak with hard-won French accents. Upon entering you are greeted by a friendly, "Bon jour, Madame." They also have a ride here that can take you to the top of their 50% scale Eiffel Tower. We didn't take it, but I imagine the view up there is great. We found the food here to be some of the best on the Strip. The buffet here is great, especially for breakfast when they have their pastries fresh from their own French bakery. One of our favorite restaurants is also in the Paris, Le Provencal, as well as my very favorite bar, the Napoleon Bar. (I love Napoleon, so you may think this is biased, but it is a beautiful room.) If nothing else, browse through the shops here. There are some cool things to see, even if no one can afford them! Leave a Comment

Paris in Las Vegas by windsorgirl We didn't venture inside this resort or the casino but were very impressed by what we saw on the outside. Here you will find replicas of famous Paris landmarks such as the Louvre, the Hotel de Ville and the Arc de Triomphe. Dominating the Vegas strip is a half scale replica of the famous Eiffel Tower. You can ride 540 feet to the top of the tower for about $7 to enjoy a panoramic view of Las Vegas Boulevard. The tower is also beautifully illuminated at night, a definite must see. The tower is open daily from 10 am to 1 am. Leave a Comment Phone: (702) 946-7000Directions: Located right across the street from Lake Como at the Bellagio ResortWebsite: http://www.paris-lv.com

by amybrooke PRETTY COOL ITS LIKE A LITTLE PARIS COMPLETE WITH AN EIFFEL TOWER... THE VIEW FROM THE TOWER IS NOT THAT GREAT. DON'T REALLY RECOMMEND PAYING THE MONEY TO WAIT IN A LONG LINE TO GO UP TO THE TOP.. TRY THE RESTAURANTS AND SHOPS IN PARIS. THE BEST PART IS THE INTERIOR. THE CEILING LOOKS LIKE THE SKY. ITS PRETTY NEAT TO WALK AROUND INSIDE, YOU WILL FORGET ITS DAYLIGHT WHEN YOUR IN THERE. Leave a Comment

This is a pretty cool attraction. I think everyone should do this at least once when visiting Vegas. It is not nearly as breath taking as the stratosphere, but to see everything from above right on the strip is pretty cool. It is pricey, but still worth it. Hours of operation: Open daily, 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 a.m., weather permitting. Cost: Please either check the website of call the attraction for current cost. Reservations: For birthdays, private parties and groups. Paris Las Vegas is a hotel and casino is owned and operated by Harrah's Entertainment. its theme is the city of Paris in France; it includes a 1/2 scale, 540 foot (164.6 m) tall replica of the Eiffel Tower, and a neon sign in the shape of the Montgolfier balloon, a two-thirds size Arc de Triomphe, and a replica of La Fontaine des Mers. The front facade of the building suggests the Paris Opera House and the Louvre. Its adjacent sister property, Bally's Las Vegas, has a Las Vegas Monorail station. The Paris hotel Las Vegas is one of the most unique and comfortable places to stay while in Las Vegas. The hotel, sporting a scaled replica of the Eifel tower and the Arc de Triomph, the hotel feels completely removed from the Las Vegas scene when you enter. Graceful and elegant arches, fireplaces, mirrows, and lighting accent the mood of the hotel, emphasising a high level of comfort. The shops appear small and humble giving a comfortable market place sensation when you shop. Even the buffets have multiple dinning halls, each one possessing full length mirrors, fireplaces, equisite mantles and an atmosphere you thought could only be found in France. The Paris Casino Las Vegas is an elegant and comfortable place to gamble, complete with fountains, massive arches with lights, and a plush interior designed to make certain you are as comfortable. The replica of the Eiffel tower is complete with the tower restaurant, allowing you to experience te Eiffel tower without having to go to France. This replica has been designed to be as close to the real tower, making it a architechtural wonder, right in Las Vegas.

This is a beautiful replica of "The Arc de Triomphe" even though it is at two-thirds scale of the original monument dedicated to the soldiers who fought in the Battle of Austerlitz. The names and dates of Napoleon's victories are inscribed on the replica. The Arc de Triomphe can be seen 24 hours per day right from the Las Vegas Strip. There is even a celebration on Bastille Day (July 14th). BE AWARE, this structureas stands in the middle of the check-in circle for the Paris Las Vegas Hotel-Casino. Although they say there's no place to stand or park without getting some taxi or airport shuttle driver angry. I parked myself right in front of the fountain to keep out of traffic and when I wanted to take a picture upclose, I was very careful of the out going traffic from the lower garage and circle. Just be careful! Leave a Comment Phone: (702) 946-7000Directions: Paris Las Vegas, just south of the intersection of the Vegas Strip and Flamingo Road. View from the Tower by mightywease Accordion music, fountains and a cheery greeting of “Bonjour” from the hotel staff and you have to be in Paris! Or do you?! Well, you could also be in the Paris Hotel Las Vegas and, of course, you can’t have Paris without having the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas is not quite as tall as the original, in fact it is exactly half the size, however it has been reproduced with a superb eye for detail. An elevator whisks you to the observation deck, 460 feet above the Strip. The lift attendant was extremely friendly and informative. I can’t remember exactly how much he told us it cost to build the tower but it was in the millions of dollars range. However he also told us that they had recouped all the building costs in about six months of opening! The views across Las Vegas are fantastic, taking in a 360degree panorama that includes the Strip, the city and the mountains in the distance. In the evening it also allows wonderful views across to the Bellagio fountain display. The observation deck is quite small (holding about 30 to 40 people at a time) so you may have to queue to get in and, needless to say, it is not for those at all nervous of heights! Cost of entry is approximately 12 dollars each. A little pricey maybe but worth it for the views Leave a Comment
